Really friendly staff. Always available and welcoming and helpful to organize activities/transport to the desert. Breakfast is totally fine and in the evening when you are to tired to go out they can order dinner for you. Nice, refreshing pool. Spacious room. Good wifi.

The quiet location & only 10 minutes walk into town. The clean swimming pool which was very welcome in the afternoon heat followed by a cerveza then a swing in one of the hammocks. Listening to the bird songs & seeing the birds on the feeders. Room was simple but clean & comfortable. Pleased I had an upstairs room. The staff were all very helpful & friendly especially Andres & Isobel the cleaner. Breakfast was simple but OK. Slices of water melon, egg dish & cafe con leche.

The location was a short walk out of town but it was lovely and quiet. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend an excellent guide called Camilo. He took us on adventures for two days running. Super informative and friendly. We had a great two days with him. Very reasonable too. He was the highlight. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and had a very welcome aircon. The pool and hammocks add to the very pleasant outdoor space. The whole place is surrounded by nature.

“Lovely hotel”

Very helpful people! They did their very best to help us with everything. We went mountain biking through the desert and they made sure we could rent bikes. I usually don’t need AC but here it was very nice to have.

Cosmos Tatacoa is a very nice hotel calm and clean with a very nice swimming pool, the location is perfect to go visit Tatacoa désert. The owners very professionals ! The breakfast is very good always fresh and tasty 😋. A special thanks to our personal guide to Tatacoa desert. FRANCISCO Martinez ! He is a very professional guide and a great photographer! I recommend this hotel 100%! I hope we could come back one day!

“Best place to stay in Tatacoa”

The host was amazing and took great care of us during our stay. She arranged taxis for the desert and the bus station for us. There is also a great viewing spot in the hotel to watch the storms over the desert.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Such lovely people work here including Joanna and Schneider. We went on an excellent tour of the deserts with Schneider and Camilo (I think) which I would highly recommend. They also were really helpful with transport and going to the observatory. Rooms are great, nice pool and there are lovely hammocks and birds in the garden.

Very nice and helpful staff, nice location, we could also check in in the middle of the night. Breakfast was coffee, fruit, egg dish or waffles. Be sure to book the rooms with AC!

Great beautiful place, rooms have plenty of space and AC included. The place is a bit out of city, but thanks to that it's also calmer and quieter there. Perfect staging post for your trips to Tatacoa desert and observatories, staff is extremely friendly and helpful!

“Great service, good location, horrific noise”

Location - close to an English speaking observatory albeit the walking route is in pitch black! The staff are very nice and friendly and food is decent. They also offer tours and the tour guide is also super nice. For what it is, where you are and what you pay you get a decent service and accomodation.

Great property to stay in a simple short walk into the town, the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, they helped us book what activities we wanted to do. Breakfast was great each morning and the rooms were lovely and clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, Vanessa helped us with organizing our bus travels last minute. The tour to the dessert was nice, the internet was fast enough to work, the pool is nice.

Clean and very nice Pool as well as lovely Garden atmosphere to watch birds. The Hotel was very flexible regarding check in and check out times. We recommend to book a room with AC as it gets quite hot in the area. We apreciated the great tour to the Tatacoa Dessert with our lovely privat guide Esneyder which was arranged by the Hotel. Also, the hotel offers a taxi service from and to Neiva. Maik, the taxi driver is very kind and even helped us with our further trip. We had a good time at Tatacoa Hotel!
