“Great stay! Don't miss the breakfast”

The accommodation was great! The beds were very comfy and the bedroom was warm, with the added bonus that you could regulate the temperature or switch it off completely if it got too hot or if you wanted to air out the room. Breakfast was exceptional, both in terms of service and the quality of the products—the blueberry jam was a real highlight. A gem of a location!

We were on a motoring trip and keen to tackle the Mont Cenis pass so the location was ideal for us. Our host was very welcoming and even asked the village restaurant to open specially for our party of four. The property is very historic and a really interesting place to stay. We had a suite with everything we needed and was very good value for money.

Location was good and the old world character of the building is great, but not very practical. Floors are old wood floor boards but uneven! Some door frames are small - so banged my head several times!! Great breakfast room and a good breakfast.

What a sweet spot! Felt like we were in an old castle. We enjoyed the slippers given to us when we arrived, the room was cozy, the bed comfortable and the owners incredibly kind. The breakfast was great! We will come back!

Estelle & Xavier were excellent hosts who looked after us very well. The property is very rustic and oozes charm. You will read people mentioning low ceilings, etc, but this is only to be expected in such an old property. For us, the charm outweighed the occasional bumped head! Great location, we were happy with the walk up to La Norma. May not be suitable for some though. Great walk to the waterfall at Avrieux. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the region.

“Wonderful experience”

We spent three nights at Au Coeur des Alpes and loved every minute. Comfortable rooms with a cute interior, french breakfasts, sauna and jacuzzi. This hotel is located only 20 mins drive from the Orelle ski lift, which makes it a great place to stay if you come to ski in the 3 Valleys. Au Cœur des Alpes is run by a lovely and very welcoming hosts. They make everything possible for their guests to enjoy the stay. Highly recommended.
