This hotel is in the Arribes de Duero Nature Reserve, just 14 km from the Portuguese border, in Villardiegua de la Ribera, Zamora. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. “Beautiful and stress free!”
Everything! The location in the small village of Villardiegua was so beautiful and peaceful, the posada was perfect, just the right mix of rustic and modern, and the breakfasts and the dinners were delicious and superb value. Last, but certainly not least, the welcome and kindness of Manuela and Andres to us (and our dog) made us feel completely at home, nothing was too much trouble for them. we will go back without doubt.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this Posada Real situated in a quaint rural village in the Zamora region of Spain. We stayed for three nights in an attractive and spacious room with a pretty balcony. The hosts Manuela and Andres were absolutely lovely people...they could not do enough to make us feel welcome and provided us with lots of ideas about what to do in this very interesting border region between Spain and Portugal...they even organised a Duero river cruise for us, which was an absolutely delightful experience. A visit to the ancient romanesque city of Zamora is a must do, as well as visiting the very interesting hilltop village of Fermoselle with its underground bodegas. We thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful breakfasts and evening meals expertly prepared by Manuela. We would absolutely recommend a visit to this wonderful inn!

The owners are excellent hosts. A sympathy! We were very well received. The food prepared by the owner was excellent. The location is very good for visiting Douro Internacional (boat trips), Miranda do Douro and Zamora. And we also benefit from a Spanish village atmosphere, ideal for walks in the countryside. An excellent example of the POSADAS REALES. Great
