“Perfectly situated on the Camino”

I had a private room with shared bathroom. Very clean and comfortable Lovely garden to relax in.

Private room was not as booked. No bath tub and had 4 singles for some reason. Room itself was quite nice, but not as expected or hoped. Garden area is nice.

I was pleasantly surprised. My room was very nice and they served a very good dinner in the evening.

We made a reservation through Booking.com which was secured with our card. Upon check in we were told we were only allowed to pay in cash and that it is a policy each guest has to pay 16 Euro each for dinner at their restaurant. Due to our card being secured online we explained that we won’t pay in cash as they could say we were a no show and be charged. Their policy also states that no cash is excepted on Booking.com. The lady that served us advised she was only the bar staff and has nothing to do with accommodation and was refusing to let us pay in card and not have the dinner. After 1 hour we called booking.com who advised us to obtain a receipt of paying in cash with a signature and that we do not have to pay for the dinner. Even after all that she would not sign the payment receipt so she let us check in but we had to come back at 8:30pm to have it signed and then we were able to pay. Turns out the lady that served us was the Boss’s partner in the end. The dinner and price for the accommodation itself was also very overpriced. We did not eat there however the menu did not look appealing. The kitchen was dirty and the fridge even off.

Good location. The owner is very nice. The rooms are nice and there is a very pleasant atmosphere. We could store our bikes there.

Big fluffy towel and black out blinds with a comfy bed was such a luxury mid-Camino! Nice and quiet space.

Lovely wooden floorboards. Very quaint. Access to a microwave. Close to Bars and the Iglesia. Shady grassed area for relaxing in.

I booked a Room, but the lodge was closed, when I arrived. No reaction since then, Money Not refunded. Booking.com absolutely Not helpful
