The hostel has big rooms and big lockers. The rooms and bathrooms were clean Breakfast was simple, but tasty (bread, jam, cream cheese and some delicious pastry). The kitchen was clean and spacious. It's within walking distance to the bus terminal, the lake, the supermarket and the centre. Bonus: two cats living at the hostel.

“Poor experience and didn’t stay the night - may be a one-off”

Unfortunately we had a poor experience here and didn’t stay the night. A friend and I had booked 2 beds in a 5 bed dorm room but we found the room to be cramped, hot and the bunk beds very poor quality and unsafe. We asked if we could be upgraded to a private room, which was available, and we were prepared to pay the price difference. However the staff did not allow us, they wanted us to pay the full amount for the private (which was more expensive directly with them than via Booking) and would not refund the price for the dorm room. In the end we found another accommodation nearby which was much nicer for less money.

“Great hostel for your stay in Villa la Angostura”

Very nice hostel, with a great atmosphere. Really friendly and helpful staff, who were very kind to let us use the kitchen and common areas after the check out. Very well equipped kitchen, nice breakfast served in the morning. Big and cosy common areas, with big outdoor space. While rooms are quite small (but in line with other hostels), beds are equipped with individual sockets and lights. I would highly recommend staying here for your holidays in Villa la Angostura.

Overall great stay. Lovely atmosphere in the hostel and friendly crowd. Various common spaces for relaxing/socialising. The guy who greeted me at reception made me feel very welcome.

The room was comfortable and very clean. Shower was good, and breakfast was very nice with delicious fresh bread. Good location super close to the bus terminal.

My bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. There was enough space in the room and in the hostel. The staff was nice. The bathrooms were clean.

“Cute & cozy but perhaps a bit overpriced”

The hostel was cute & cozy & all that. Good location, great shower, well equipped kitchen. However, for me, I didn’t find it to be good value for money. It is the second most expensive hostel I have stayed at in 9+ months in South America (my hostel in El Chaltén being the first) and for that you get only coffee/bread/butter/manjar for breakfast, you have to make your own bed & you got a pretty tired bunk/mattress. I think there are simple touches that could be made to add value, such as offering free coffee & tea throughout the day, having nights where the hostel does something together or even just making the bed for the guest. Just my takeaway - I’m sure not everyone will share the same sentiment! Cozy cabin vibes but, IMO, overpriced.

Nice and comfy hostel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was good with both Argentinians and foreign tourists staying there. The breakfast was basic but good and the hostel kept very clean.

A great place to meet people, nice vibe, many times people end up cooking dinner together, nice common areas with a pool table, ping pong table, wifi worked well, a quiet place to relax at night, good location close enough to the center
