“Beautiful colonial hotel - super helpful team”

Well, everything: this is a beautiful original colonial building/hotel with a nice large pool, stylish decor and perfectly well located in Villa de Leyva. But above all: super helpful people. A huge huge thank you to Ivan who was so helpful to us. We ended up in Villa de Leyva during a road blockade by miners and farmers: impossible to reach Bogota, all the roads were blocked. Ivan went out of his way for us, calling the authorities, the police to find out the different blockages. In the end, he brought us back to Bogota via diverted mountain roads (7 hours instead of 3). We cannot thank you enough Ivan! Bonito recuerdo ;-)

Selina was really a great place to stay in Villa de Leyva. The staff was super helpful. I could leave my luggage there, because I arrived earlier. The location is great and the accommodation really well designed. I loved the pool area and the room was beautiful!

The place is fantastic, with a nice pool and a large outside area to hang out. The food is delicious and we got to enjoy some live Colombian-style music. Villa de Leyva is truly a must-see village, boasting beautiful old Spanish architecture that adds to its charm.

Very beautiful and spacious place at a great location, there's a nice swimming pool , the staff is very helpful and pleasant to be around with , i highly recommend this hostel !

I loved this place, probably the best Selina we’ve been too. Gorgeous big complex, beautiful plants, little fire when we arrived and wonderful staff at reception and bar. One of the cheapest we’ve stayed at and very clean. Great location, 10/10 recommend.

in general the installations were good, the food was nice , the cocktails were awesome, and the service for extracurricular activities were top.

Beautiful hotel in the local architecture style. Swimming pool a nice bonus to relax after a lot of walking. Super convenient location, 5 min walk to the bus station and main square. Friendly staff, ready to answer all your questions.

The general idea and design is pretty cool - mixing colonial architecture with modern industrial style. Beds are comfy & showers had great pressure and hot water. The pool/restaurant area is very pretty. The shared kitchen is a nice touch, as I carry my own stovetop coffee maker and enjoy my coffee at 5-6 am when everything is usually closed. The internet generally worked fine and I managed to get some work done.

Very nice family room. Room and complex were clean. Beds were comfortable, and the location was okay. Breakfast is a la carte.

Great location next to bars and restaurants! The service and food at Selina's restaurant is wonderful. Natalia, was more than just a massage therapist, She really working with heart, She was just amazing....” The manager and staff was super attentive and friendly!

The facilities in this hostel are great - everything from the hot water shower to the kitchen. We also briefly used the co- working space, the cinema and the restaurant and they were all perfect.

“Poor communication but great hotel”

The Selina hotel is definitely a great hotel and place to stay in villa de Leyva but unfortunately due to unfortunate flooding in the city a day before we arrived, a lot of things were damaged and the staff was working hard to put the place back in order. Hence why all the attention was set on rearranging things and not the guests. We understand that was a terrible incident and the staff had to work harder to organise and plan the next couple of days but the communication was very poor: For example we haven't been said about what happened, the cleaning following our first night hasn't been done despite having mud everywhere in the room and asked for it at the reception. Unluckily we also discovered the following day that the hot water and WiFi weren't working, once again we haven't been warned or no communication have been done. We understand that due to the flooding things were upside down, no having hot water is ok if communication would have been done which shows clients respect and which we believe is a part of the job as well.

The location is good, and the place is charming. The facilities are reasonable, it has a coworking space, pool, and restaurant, and the personnel was friendly.
