Lack of communication within staff. We booked a couple of more days and went to reception to pay and ask if we could stay in the same room. Everything was sorted however when we turned up the next day (after check out time) we got told off the check in time was at 12:00 and we didn't check out. We explained and she checked the computer saw our booking and said "ok". Not an apology for their lack of communication or anything.

We had a problem with the reception lady who included the tax in the price which we are exempt (being a foreigner visiting under a certain amount of days) then she grabbed our passport again to check the date of our stamp in (which she already did in the time she had the passport them) throw in our face a waiver of insurance which was very odd. We asked why. She rudely responded that because we don't pay the tax we can't be insured if anything happened to our belongings in the room. Then asked her colleague to take over with us as she was on a personal phone call. The other lady explained that we could take an extra insurance if we wanted so we did. The second lady was very nice and patient with us when we told her we didn't feel comfortable signing a waiver of inssurance. It got sorted but it is the first time in a month in Colombia we had such a weird paper to sign because we are exempt of paying the IVA. Sounds a little dodgy to me.

1) Good location. A brisk 10-minute walk from the bus station. 2) We were given a free early checkin (we arrived about 10am). We dropped off the bags and headed out immediately. 3) Nice breakfast. Nothing exceptional but decent enough. 4) Friendly staff. 5) Good WiFi. 6) Really close to D1 (a discount food store) 7) Close to everything you need. 8) Spacious and clean.

Clean comfortable, big rooms, nice terrace, super shower with lots of hot water. Not in the centre but easy walk to the plaza Mayor.
