I loved my stay. It was my first private room after three months of traveling and staying in dorms. The private room is amazing! A lot of space, a lot of light, comfortable bed, hot shower AND a hammock 😍 I wish I could have extended my stay if I had more time.

You put your shoes off at the entry. It gives a feeling of living at home. The reception guy spoke perfect English, even some decent German. The shower water always could be put on very hot which was amazing. You get your own key for the front door, so you don't need to ring like in other hostels in bigger cities every time you come home.

The staff were lovely and really welcoming. They were there for any advice or question I had. The room appears basic in the picture but the beds were so comfortable and there was lots of storage by my bed. Well situated and really good value for money. Definitely would return

Super comfortable room with lots of space and a smart RV. The shower was nice and hot and everything felt super cozy. Really nice and welcoming team of volunteers as well, one of my favourite hostels on the trip!

“Comfortable stay in Villa de Leyva”
Very welcoming environment, with friendly staff/volunteers, and two cute doggies. The bedroom was large enough, with the hammock on the balcony a welcome touch. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot and had good pressure.

“Best hostel in Villa de Leyva”
We had a lovely stay at this hostel in Villa de Leyva. It is in a great location, a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. The hostel itself is the cleanest and most spacious we have stayed in, so far in Colombia. The kitchen offers everything you need for basic cooking. The staff at the hostel were friendly and very helpful. We hired bikes from the hostel so we could explore the perimeter of Villa De Leyva. This was a great amenity to have. The hostel staff also arranged for a morning walk up the mountain so we could get a good view point of Villa De Leyva. Free coffee in the mornings was an added bonus! 😜 No complaints, worth every penny. Thank you!

The hostal was very exceptional! The staff is so warm-hearted and lovely, the breakfast was gorgeous and the room I booked was fantastic! It was such a good match that I even exceeded my stay. The WIFI works well (also in the room) so it’s a good space to do some remote work. The hostal is very close to the Center so it’s easy to get around. Don’t look for any other hostal - that one is the best!!! ☺️☺️☺️

They did not refund the deposit of the keys. Maybe it was just an oversight on the part of the staff.
