“Cosy, comfortable, friendly hotel”

A cosy little hotel only a few steps from the station in Vilhemina. We arrived on a Monday evening when nearly everything in town was closed so they have a buffet available (although we did end up getting some great Thai food from a food truck!). Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning. A really comfortable room, friendly staff, and a homely feel.

Kind hostess was very welcoming. The room was cosy and it made you feel like you were at home. Free parking just behind the building which is in the centre of Vilhelmina. We came just in time to try the dinner buffet, which was excellent. The same can be said for breakfast.

Everything is perfect! We always plan our journey through Sweden to pass Lilla Hotellet. It is such a warm and friendly hotel and you will want to come back! The food and atmosphere is like being with family where there’s an awesome homecook taking care of us.

We were pleasantly surprised by how well we were able to enjoy our stay at Lola Hotellet On first impressions we were sceptical about our choice of the but once we were introduced by the owner to the property we were pleasantly surprised by our stay there . We thought that the buffet style dinner offered was very nice and excellent value and we all enjoyed our breakfast… my partner was super impressed with the coffee machine that offered the full range of coffee types- and it didn’t cost any more! Plus it was available 24/7!

“Great value in a small hotel”

Nice small hotel in the middle of the town. Easy parking and a warm welcome. After a long drive nice to drink something on the veranda, while waiting for the daily husmanskost. Great food. The next morning surprised by the fact the buffet was gone. Some miscommunication as the new lady thought it was breakfast until 8. But no problem, come into the kitchen and find what you need. Same as at home. We love it.

Nice hotel in the center of town. Not much to see in Vilhelmina, but it's a calm palce when you're passing thru. Good breakfast.

This is a delightful hotel with a homely, welcoming ambience. Our spacious room on the ground floor was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. We really appreciated the extra services provided by the hotel such as the all-day tea and coffee and the cheese and biscuits and slices of fruit provided in the late afternoon. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the outdoor areas of the hotel were a nice place to sit on a warm summer’s night. Had excellent pizzas at the nearby Quinto restaurant for dinner.

“Best Place in Vilhelmina”

I had a great experience with Lilla Hiotellet. I came with the late plane from Stockholm and called the hotel before my flight departed. They told me that the reception would be closed at my arrival, but that they would depose my room key outside and leave some food in the fridge for late night hunger. It is not the most modern hotel, but very clean and quiet and decorated everywhere with a lot of love and care for being in this business and being a host for well respected guests.

“Unbelievable Good”

If you’re looking for a pearl in the Swedish mountains, you found one at Vilhelmina. Very warm welcome. After getting the keys and normal procedures ( it always need to be paid) We have been informed about the food they will serve that night. Not our choice, Fish. Says nothing about the quality off course. If it was a meat dish that night I am pretty sure we would have eaten at this place. Now we found the Pizzeria in town. Also very good food. After a walk we found the veranda at the hotel and finished the day with some wine and reading while waiting for the next Traktor. ( we love those kids in their old cars) Breakfast was simply very good as well. Hard to leave this place, but it will be in our memory for a next stop over on our way to Northern Sweden. Tack så mycket !
