“Perfect place for a weekend break near the beach”
Very clean family run establishment, very close to the sea/beach and a gentle walk into the town. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for our overnight stay. There was lots of choice at breakfast and there's a lovely, large terrace at the back to enjoy even if your room doesn't have any outdoor space.

“Very good stay at the harbour/beach side of Vilanova i la Geltrú”
The Ribes Roges is a small, personal hotel with id own caracter. Super clean, welcoming, just 100 m from the beach, calm, comforable bed and super clean badroom. The breakfast is correct. Restaurants are just 6 to 10 min walk.

“Ideal for the beach”
Beautifully decorated bedroom and bathroom. I was impressed with the large ceiling light panel that had a photo of a few clouds and was dimmable. The desk had an extendable table underneath. The building and grounds are kept really clean and there were several areas inside and outside in which to relax in. Each individual staff member I met were all very friendly. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach in a generally quiet road and about 15 minutes walk to the railway station. There are lots of restaurants nearby. There was quite a lot of food for breakfast: cereal, mostly slices of dry cakes and savoury items.

“My experience exceeded expectations — the hotel is definitely worth the money!”
I stayed at Hotel Ribes Roges and was very happy with my choice! For a 2-star hotel, the stay was surprisingly comfortable: the rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything needed for a pleasant visit. I especially want to highlight the manager — he was very kind and always ready to help with any questions, attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent — tasty and varied, with good quality products. Another big plus is the location: just a few minutes’ walk from the sea, which makes staying here especially convenient. I highly recommend Hotel Ribes Roges!

“A pleasant and faultless stay near the sea”
What a little pearl of a hotel this is. I booked this 2* hotel simply to see if all the reviews were true. Not only are they true but far surpassed what I had read. Rafael the owner is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are light and spotlessly clean, with airco/heating and we even had a terrace. The bed is very comfortable and with crisp white linen and a choice of 2 different pillows. We found cava and chocolates in the room as a gift for new year, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast is outstanding with so much choice of fresh and quality products. It’s location is absolutely perfect, near the beach but just far enough away from the heart of Vilanova. I know it says it’s a 2* hotel but in many ways it’s far superior to many 4* hotels I have stayed at.

Easy and friendly checkin. Good selection on food for breakfast. Location was excellent for access to beach.
