“Beautiful, raw, authentic and welcoming.”
Samara is literally on the sands of the most incredible beach, overlooking Bazaruto and Benguera Islands. Sunrises are something special to behold from there. There are several food options nearby (are at Casbah next door like 6 times), a well stocked grocery store and ATM within walking distance. The staff were all really friendly and helpful as well. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis, so along with the rest of the resort, was generally spotless and well maintained. Lots of activities nearby too (kite surfing, SUP, snorkel trips, quad biking etc.) so there is no reason to be bored during your stay. The meals we had were good too. Nice seafood and a filling breakfast each day. The place wasn't at full capacity so we were given our choice of two rooms upon arrival (which was lovely after being collected from the airport with the included shuttle service). The room we chose was the closest one to the reception, beach and restaurant, so it was really convenient.

“Good accommodation, good location”
Location was great - right on the beach, but note it is beside a busy entry road to the beach. Loud music and large groups every afternoon/evening.

Amazing food. Inclusive breakfast was very generous. Evening meal not included but great value for money and very tasty! Beautiful room which was comfy and clean. Will definitely stay again.

Right on the beach. Nice, clean, air-conditioned and well appointed and spacious room. Only one minor negative, no door/ proper separation of bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helped us book activities at competitive prices. Overall, would thoroughly recommend and happy to return. Lovely long-weekend visit from JHB.

The property is right on the beach, and the seaview room provided exactly that — an exquisite sea view which came with a beautiful sunrise every morning.
