The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of good advice on available activities. The lodge is only a short walk or tucktuck ride away from the town and an opportunity to interact with the Mozambicans who live there.

We loved the chalet rooms, each separately located in beautiful garden surrounds, just a few steps from the beach. The service was great, Else and the team could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The food was simple, fresh and always tasty with great seafood options

The breakfast was delightful. Fresh fruit every morning was an absolute pleasure. Eggs and bacon to perfection. Staff always pleasant, happy and respectful. A happy casual setting for a relaxed breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Our hosts were absolutely fantastic - always available to offer helpful advice, recommend local attractions, and ensured our every need was met. Lemon Beach Lodge is highly recommended.

The houses are wonderful, a real paradise! Just right apart so you have privacy. The owner Elsa is very helpful and assists in organising excursions.

We had the pleasure of spending a week in August at Lemon Beach Lodge in Vilanculos, and it was simply fantastic! The owners of the lodge are incredibly dedicated and always ensure that guests have everything they need. Their assistance in planning tours and activities was invaluable and made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff at the restaurant , kitchen and housekeeping was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the entire stay very pleasant and relaxing. The regional cuisine, especially the fish and seafood dishes, were a real highlight – prepared and served with love and care, they were an absolute delight! The bungalows are beautifully situated in a lush, tropical garden, providing plenty of privacy. The pool is perfect for relaxing after day trips to the nearby islands and completes the paradisiacal atmosphere. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lemon Beach Lodge and highly recommend this wonderful spot! Elbir and Gunar from Germany 🇩🇪

The location is great, close to the supermarket. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and portions was big. They went out of their way to help us book excursions like fishing and island trips.
