The house is very spacious with en suite to each room and the master bedroom is massive. Everything was clean inside and the location is great. The host was superb, we arrived on electric bikes and he brought round an extension lead to help with charging. He gave advice on public transport, places to eat and drink and useful information about the locality, it really was a warm welcome. The property benefits from a restaurant on either side both serving fantastic food and a visit is a must. They do not disturb your stay as the property is detached and they do not open late into the night. If you are looking to stay in or around Vilaflor this is a great place to stay

“A wonderful three days here ...”

La Casa Inglesa is a beautifully restored old Canarian house situated near the heart of the village of Vilaflor. All the rooms spread over three floors have great character. One of the bedrooms comes with a four-poster bed. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Pablo, the owner, was very helpful and attentive during our stay. He was also efficient responding to requests and questions before we arrived. Pablo also owns the restaurant next-door (Los Cipreses) which serves some great Canarian dishes. Despite the house also being close to another restaurant and a bar, there is no concern about being kept awake by the noise because of the thick walls. There are some fabulous walks you can do from Vilaflor, and the village is also the perfect overnight stop if you are heading for Mount Teide.

Pablo and his team were great hosts and their restaurant next door is excellent. Rooms were high ceilings and airy keeping the house cool on hot summer days.

The host was really helpful and recommended some really useful apps to utilise while staying at the property that we used for hiking one day. He was friendly, welcoming and responded to any questions I asked when I messaged. The house itself was beautiful; a mix of rustic charm and more modern decor within parts of the house like the bathrooms. It was clean and was located centrally within the town so we could park nearby in the car park behind the church for free. From there, it was only a couple of minutes walk to the property. Beautiful views from the accommodation and it was an added bonus to be situated right next door to the owner’s restaurant which we ate at one night- it was yummy!

Beautiful spacious grand old house. Loads of room. Clean and well equipped. Private use of large outside terrace. Peaceful but central and close to bars and restaurants in a pretty small town. Great walking trails from the house. Easy parking in car park. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Pablo was.very efficient, friendly and helpful.

Beautiful house in the centre of Vilaflor, almost feels like living in a museum. Clean, spacious rooms, fully equipped, modern bathroom in each bedroom, comfortable mattrasses.

La Casa Inglesa Vilaflor is in a superb location in the centre of the historic village of Vilaflor. It offers easy access to excellent hiking trails, both in the vicinity of Vilaflor and in the El Teide National Park.

Incredible house in the best place of Vilaflor! Pablo is a great host! We stayed for one week but wished to have stayed there for two. Very convenient location to explore the whole Teide area. And right next door, actually attatched to the villa, there is the best restaurant in Vilflor, also run by Pablo. Could not have been a better experience! Thank you Pablo!

It was for us excellent stay. Actually there are 4 sleeping rooms. We were just 2 people and could choose any room we wish. We heard at house always are rented out for 1 group... does not matter 2 persons or 8+. It was perfect for us. There is also living room and a kitchen with coffee machine with coffee, tea, refrigerator, electric plate for making food, some spices etc. There are also next door restaurant Le Cipreses. We can recommend it too! Host are working also there. So, if you need something - easy to communicate with. House are also next to church. Some church bells are ringing nicely soft. I loved that much! The bed was comfortable and designed like for princess:) Every room are litle different, also litle difference are between bathrooms for each room. But all are good. Extra ws is also at 0 floor with bath. Nice wintage stiled house. I can recommend this Home for a family or group of friends or as perfect just for couple.

TOP house is huge and increadibly well decorated. You feel the history and the taste of the owner. Every detail is beautiful and coherent. The restaurant next door is wonderful this add even more pleasure when you don't want to cook in the fully equipped kitchen TOP village. Both full of beautiful places (parc, church..) but as well at top high (one of the highest village in Spain) TOP localisation close to the highest Spanish mountain El Tiede... wonderful walk, views... TOP owner with both great welcome and privacy kept By the way I am spending hours to select houses or apartments for our many travel in Europe and uses your comments to do so... and this place ranks on the top of my choices NO doubt we will return with family and or friends so please don't tell everyone it is so great because we need it for many days next year ;-)

“Hidden gem”

Amazing quiet location in a pretty square. All bedrooms are en suite and spacious. The whole property is very authentically Canarian. Pablo was an amazing host, always on hand for questions and he also runs the nice family restaurant next door where we ate at twice for very little money. We were there as a group of cyclists for a long weekend and the location is perfect and quiet away from the usual package holiday makers.
