Amazing location and fabulous cabins

“Unexpected but lovely.”

There was a power cut and our plans were totally disrupted. Our room here was comfortable and gave us everything we needed. The service was impeccable and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here.

The area is magic, beautiful. The heater worked amazingly well. Beautiful view from the cabin. Everything was nice. Best I could ever ask for, for this price.

Nice place to stay

Nice hytte in a Forrest and waterfall area. Good walking tracks and enjoy the waterfalls

The property is located on the national tourist route Gualarfjellet, very close to the Likholefossen waterfall. The living area of the room was quite big. Both bedrooms were of a good size. The kitchen was well-equipped. We missed a ferry connection and arrived late at the property after the reception closed. But the staff were accommodating, and left us clear instructions to find the key and how to find our cabin.

Beautiful location, comfortable and clean. Perfect spot for a nature getaway, close proximity to the waterfall and amazing hiking trails.

“Fairytale in a forest”

I love this place. It is as great as it was in 2017 when I visited for the first time. Fairy-tale like houses, simple but cozy. Great facilities, great staff, and the wonderful lake and nearby Fossestien waterfall. So very peaceful! I wish I could spend days just sitting next to the lake, doing nothing. There are new owners, the old owner, a very nice man, retired before this season but he still keeps an eye on it. :) The new owners seem very nice too. They plan to switch the remaining bunk beds for bigger and more modern beds. The place is kids and dogs friendly, you can rent a boat etc. Two visits and I still found nothing to complain about. It’s just an awesome retreat.

Absolutely amazing destination. Peaceful, beautiful area, relaxing, wonderful for swimming, hiking and resting. Great cabin, clean, cozy and with fantastic view.

“Simple cabin but very cozy.”

The rooms are tiny but cute and clean. There are public bathrooms, washing machine room and kitchen room for cleaning dishes. Inside chalet, there is oven,fridge. You can fish, walk, enjoy nature of place. Remember to bring food to cook with you as no restaurants near by.

Wonderful cosy cottage in а wood near а waterfall - you can see and hear it from the window. Wild berries and heather around. You can hike, go fishing or just relax in a tranquil nature)

Hov Hyttegrend was Awesome. The cabins were very comfortable and warm. Decent cooking facilties and loads of wild blueberries about to supplement the meals. The owner was very friendly. The views were stunning and just a short walk away is the begining of rapids with a bridge to cross.

Very beautiful place with an amazing view to the lake and mountains with trekking trails nearby. Washroom, bathroom and shower room is clean and warm. The cabins are also very ccozy and clean!
