Overview
The Barn is located near the village of Vík between the Mýrdalsjölill Glacier and the southern coast of Iceland. This hostel provides free WiFi and complimentary parking on site. The double rooms come with a shared bathroom, some present a view over the nearby mountains. Dormitory beds with blackout drapes are available. Very weel organized and cool hostel. Nice enterieur. There are enough toilets, showers, the shared kitchen is well equipped.

Bedroom was clean and bedding confortable. Open access kitchen was great. Shared bathroom were clean and there were extra sinks in the hallway.

Exceptional stay at the barn! View of the waves from the room and everything neat and clean Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is stunning, with a beautiful view of the water, and the whole place has an incredible atmosphere. The kitchen is top notch – modern, clean and very well equipped. Special thanks to Margo, the Polish woman with a smile on her face at the reception – she is truly exceptional! So kind, professional and hospitable. She made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend – we would definitely come back!

Too overpriced compared to other hostels in Iceland where we stayed. Kitchen was spacious and we'll equipped. But much smaller compared to number of guests it's serving.. Even if 3 people are cooking, it gets crowded.. They need to add one more kitchen and dining area

Very helpful receptionist. Even though the heater in our room didn't work well, the receptionist helped us immediately when we informed her. She got us a smaller heater that kept us warm and cozy through the night. Kitchen well equipped, and dining area had sufficient seats and a relaxing view Free parking Pleasantly surprised that there were many stalls for toilet, shower and handwashing. They were all clean too
