Amazing location and view! The cottage was very clean, practical and cosy.

Everything! Cute little cottage, absolute value for money and comfortabel beds. Would stay again. The biscuits, Senseo pads and teabags were very well appreciated!

Cean and comfortable. The location is perfect for the Golden Circle, and it's very close to Vík for handy restaurants and a discount supermarket

“Exceptional place to stay.”

An exceptional place to stay, just a 5-minute drive from Vik city center. The accommodation was very clean, and everything inside was new and fully functional. There is kitchen equipment (pans, cutlery, etc.) The bed was very comfortable. The area is very quiet and scenic, with a view of the ocean whilst having waterfalls just behind our cabin. Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling near Vik.

Great compact cabin that had everything we needed for our stay. The big windows are the highlight for sure, the view across the plains to the cliffs in the distance is stunning. We were in the back row of cabins but were not bothered because they are slightly elevated, so the front row doesn't block the views. Things we especially liked: - Very very quiet and peaceful - Baseboard heaters in every room - Dishwasher with plenty of tabs - Coffee maker with complementary coffee pads! - Smart TV in the bedroom - Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap included

There’s everything we needed, equipped kitchen, living area, bedroom, bathroom. The environment is private, and we had a good view from our cottage.

“Cozy little cottage”

Beautiful little cottage, well equipped, and very cozy. There was even sugar, salt, pepper, oil, and coffee in the kitchen for the basic needs. The view was amazing and it was very close to the puffin spot and the black beach with basalt columns. Very uncomplicated check in and check out. Parking lot in front of the door available. Different birds were just in front of the door.

Location good nice views out the front of the property looking down to the sea in the distance. Bed comfy, good WiFi, everything you needed, microwave, hob and dishwasher.

Location, self contained nature of the accommodation, outlook, modern and comfortable furnishings, bed was great. We looked forward to returning to our cabin every day.

Fairly close to vik. Very clean and well organized. Feels brand new.

This was our second stay at Skammidalur cottages. The cottages are equipped with anything we needed and though they small they are really cosy and have a clearly separated sleeping and living area. The view from the cottage is very nice and the location perfect for visiting Reynisfjara Beach or Dyrholaey.

Great location right off Highway 1. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed and surprisingly quiet. The only small drawback was that the wind was quite strong at night during the winter, but the heater worked well. Overall, a comfortable stay.
