“Excellent experience.”
Excellent location. Breakfast was good. Shared kitchen facilities were excellent - plenty of amenities, including cutlery, crockery, serving and cooking utensils and access to a shared fridge. Room was comfortable.

This was ideally placed for our appointment in Vík and had a huge communal social space, which was great for me for a zoom book club at midnight when it was empty! The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, just what we needed.

“Wonderful stay”
We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse lodge. We were travelling with a group of friends through South Iceland and stayed here for two nights. We had multiple rooms. Some of them with amazing views. We used the shared kitchen a few times and it was also perfect to sit together in the evening for a drink. The beds were comfortable. Some rooms were big some were little. Free coffee and tea in the lobby.

We stayed at the Farmhouse Lodge for one night and had a great experience. The room was nice, clean, and warm—just what we needed. There was a cozy common sitting area and a fully equipped shared kitchen, which was really convenient. It’s a perfect place, especially if you're traveling with friends. We highly recommend it!

Clean rooms however if you want to see the Aurora, note that houses around the property keep their lights on they are really bright. Kitchen is well equipped and in a lovely shared area

“Wonderful nature place to stay close to the road with all facilities.”
The look, the facilities (there is a big shared kitchen/chilling area with comfy chairs and games and a bar), the bed, the pretty bathroom. Surprisingly, although it's close to the #1 road, you don't hear it and it still feels secluded. The staff was friendly. My friend could stay in the common areas after checkout while I did a glacier hike.

Great room in a lovely lodge! Staff were friendly and check in was very easy. The room was clean and comfortable and as shown in the pictures. Breakfast was nice with a variety of things to choose from, and the breakfast room had great views!
