Wonderful location with fantastic views, very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture which suits the castle. The evening menu was a 4 course set menu, but the staff did their best to accommodate gluten-free requirements. We did not find it difficult to find the castle as some other reviews have said.

Unusual place to stay, full of history. Antonella, the receptionist was welcoming and knowledgeable about the castle. The room was large and grand. We stayed for dinner too which was delicious, local ingredients cooked well and plenty of it. Amazing views!!!

“A really friendly castle you will feel sorry to leave.”
The lovely big terrace, where you can have a drink while watching the mountains and the clouds. The big library room where you could chat and relax. The family portraits (?) in the corridor, including a vicar, to say hallo to every morning…. We really like Daniel, the manager, always attentive and very helpful, doing all sort of jobs and taking time if possible for giving advice and a little chat too. All the staff in general were very good and especially the cleaner and the young lady at reception.

“Amazing stay in historical castle”
It was an amazing experience to stay in the castle. Rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and assertive. We got very helpful tips on hiking options in the Pollino National Park. We can only recommend the place.
