Being in a small island like Vieques, my expectations were low. All I was looking for was a reasonably comfortable bed to sleep in & I got what I was looking for.

Everything on Vieques is expensive and not in good shape.

“Run-down place behind a bar”

The room (no. 10) smelled extremely of mould, which was not only unpleasant but also made all my clothes smell mouldy. Also the tap in the shower was completely loose so you couldn't adjust the water temperature (it was usually cold). At 160 USD/night this is unacceptable and should be fixed!

Musty smell in the room, I understand the excessive humidity in the island, but it could be fixed with some ventilation before guests arrive.

“Awesome and fun”

We liked how clean the rooms were. The on line check in was confusing but we had fun trying to figure it out. I felt like we were trying to get into am escape room. Lol. The area was fun with many adventures and great location by the bar and water.

“Conventional, comfortable and clean”

Great location right on the beach with so many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Nice room, clean and comfortable.

It was a dorm room and two people were having sex in the middle of the night, in front of everyone

Location was great, just a few steps and you’re on the Malecon, walking along the water. Beds were comfortable and there was decent water pressure with water that gets very hot. It’s self check in and out, but the hosts are pretty responsive via text. Air conditioning works well. All the staff at the adjoining bar are great (just don’t bother them when they are busy! That place gets slammed!)

“Good location and facilities.”

Good location. Next to the Main Street and beach walk side. Restaurants and beaches walkable. Once you do the check out you can leave the luggage there and even you can use the shower and bathroom later in the day before you leave. This are in the common areas. Once you do the reservation, they send you a list of things and option to do.

“This was my first and last time on Vieques.”

The room was nice, small but clean. The location is OK; close to the beach, but the beach there is rocky and full of rubbish. The air condition and Wi-Fi were working. It is great to have a bar and restaurant so close (Lazy Jacks), and the staff there was friendly.

“Great place to stay for Solo, Couple, or Family!”

This place is great! Would definitely stay here again! Everyone was super nice and accommodating, the property was really cute, the room was adorable, clean, safe & comfy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the internet worked perfectly - and even the food at Lazy Jacks was yummy! So glad I booked this place. Being a solo female traveler I felt really safe and was in the perfect location. The bartenders at Lazy Jacks were really helpful to tell me all the fun things to do on the island and offer wonderful suggestions on places to go that I hadn't even heard of! Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again when I come back!
