Not a room but a suite. For a 77yo chap travelling with 7kg backpack, the WASHING MACHINE in my suite was most welcome! Laundry dried on the rack on the tiny balcony in little more than hour. A lovely swimming pool, better than most in hotels. Very helpful receptionist with good English. Located near the Vientiane 'Arc de Triomphe' and embassies, the area was good. I walked the 2km into the location of the big wats etc near the Mekong and 2km in the opposite direction to the war museum and the amzing gold stupa, so access to attractions was fine. A couple of decent restaurants are a short walk away. Hotplate, microwave etc were provided too. I didn't use them. I am scheduled to stay again - GRAND!

“We would definitely recommend The Urbanite.”
We had stayed at the Urbanite hotel 2 years previously and as we had enjoyed it so much the first time round we had decided to book it again and we weren't disappointed. Our room was more like an apartment than a hotel room and was very spacious, quiet and clean. The breakfast was very good, there was a lot of choice and we really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and for much of the time had it to ourselves. The receptionist staff were kind courteous and were also friendly and informative and a special mention must be made of Deth and Kham who went out of their way to be of assistance.

One of the cleanest rooms I have had in Asia, and there was a new washing machine in the bathroom which was a fantastic bonus! Breakfast was one of the best too. The staff don't speak a lot of English but we muddled through. It's around a 25 minute walk to the centre.

“Very nice”
The quality of this hotel is amazing. Everything is spotless clean and functional. Breakfast was also quite nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice view from 2 balconies. I think this is one of the best hotels we have stayed.

“Excellent stay at Urbanite Hotel”
We had a wonderful stay at Urbanite Hotel in Vientiane. The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable, with well-maintained rooms and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is convenient—close to restaurants, cafés, and key attractions—making it easy to explore the city. What truly made the stay exceptional was the service, especially from Deth at the reception. Deth was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. From check-in to providing local tips and assistance, Deth went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and pleasant. His warm attitude and genuine hospitality really stood out and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Overall, Urbanite Hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a comfortable place to stay in Vientiane. Highly recommended, and special thanks again to Deth for the outstanding hospitality!

The hotel is perfect - great clean and spacious room and wonderful service. Managers were always willing to help us solve any problems. The breakfast was another joy. And the swimming pool was a good addition to our stay)

“Overall good value but remote”
Overall its a very nice hotel, although it was probably a condo building before the hotel took over. I had a king size suite, think about 45sqm total, kitchen, living area, balcony with washing machine. Large bedroom with huge bed. Very comfy. Staff at reception very helpful and immaculately turned out. Small gym on 8th floor but didnt get round to using it. Nice pool at front of hotel.
