The hotel was a good 4star experience, the rooftop bar was exceptional

Lovely property not too far from the centre of town. The suites are very spacious and well appointed. Great breakfast choices.

The hotel was very clean and the room was lovely. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed the roof top bar. Shuttle to night market was a bonus

“The best stay in Laos”

It was such an amazing stay! Probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Laos. The staff were absolutely wonderful, the room was spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable! They have pretty great facilities and really fast wifi!

“Exceptional But...”

The comfortable A/C room. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooftop bar and restaurant in the sunset. The Reception staff arranged a private taxi with a sort-of-English-speaking driver to take me to my nominated sites.

“Fab hotel in all ways apart from distance from town although a shuttle was put on hourly.”

Breakfast was great, staff very helpful. Facilities at hotel was spot on. Shuttles into town hourly. Car even picked us up from where the minivan dropped us when we arrived from Vang Vieng. Nice rooftop bar with singer some nights

Lovely location overlooking the river

This is a classy hotel. In a superb location right on the Mekong River with magnificent sunsets every night! The hotel is quite new and looks it. It's very clean and crisp. It has a lovely pool. A trendy, classy rooftop bar with a great band! Pay the extra for a river view suite if you can. They are very large with lovely large bathrooms and superb furnishings. You have a nice mini bar, a huge bed with soft comfy pillows. There are two balconies, a comfortable lounge area and a gorgeous white and blue colour scheme. You would swear you were in Paris. But as always, the staff make a hotel. Everyone from the breakfast staff, the rooftop bar staff, the housekeeping staff, the drivers and the reception staff were exceptional in every way. I would like to make a special mention about Scott at reception. A highly professional and capable young man who assisted me a lot. Nothing was too difficult for him. The hotel is a little out of town but they have a well organised free shuttle into town all day, every day so with a little planning you have endless, reliable free rides in and out of town. The food in the hotel was superb. The chefs created a large range of dishes representing cuisines from all over the world. I would recommend the Eastin Hotel to anyone and hope to stay there again in the near future.

“Very good all-round hotel”

Really nice hotel. Very clean and a lovely swimming pool. Good breakfast selection. Easy to walk into town along the river, but the hotel also offers a shuttle service.

“Disappointing pool area”

- Breakfast is great - choice of various eggs cooked for you, waffles or pancakes, bread, cereal and fruit for westerners. - Very spacious room, clean and lots of counter-top space to put your things. Shower is powerful and shampoo and body wash are provided. Lovely big bath towels!
