“What a gem. High quality and serenity from beginning to end!”
The word ‘Boutique’ is stuck to so many hotels these days but this one is PURE boutique! Built and dressed in a marvellous colonial style, it is superior all over. Private, secluded warm pool, fresh food cooked from first to last, including breakfast. Rooms are clean and quaint. Actually wished I never moved on!

Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful staff with an adequate amount of English. Breakfast was a choice of continental (pancakes), American (eggs any way you like) or Asian (fried rice or noodle soup). Good swimming pool, enough sunbeds. Gorgeous and spacious room, very comfortable bed. Good shower.

We arrived in the Chandara boutique hotel after a long travel from Europe. It was around midnight. We had a very pleasant arrival and a pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception helped us with everything we needed to visit Vientiane and to travel to Vang Vieng. It is a quiet, pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms.
