We loved staying in Maka Bay, it was very clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular and we loved waking up to this view every morning and sitting on the balcony. We spotted eagle rays and turtles while we stayed there. There a parking spots for every apartment. Also the host is amazing, we felt so welcome and loved chatting with her.

Spacious apartment and kitchen, amazing view. Nice private little corner. We very much enjoyed spending time on the balcony looking at the view. Location is, in our opinion, perfect. 10 mins to Beau Vallon which has everything you need and is much prettier than Victoria.

I stumbled upon this property as I was looking at other options and glad that I booked this property. The property is too good. As soon as you enter you see the sea, the calming sound of waves crashing on the rocks and full glass doors so it does not hinder your view. If you are lucky you can see birds catching fish, turtle and even fish jumping out like a dolphin. It was super clean and comfortable with all amneties present.

We loved the exceptional view of the property. A giant octopus waved to us on the first day we arrived which was a bonus. It is well decorated and equipped. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We didn’t want to leave.

“Cool place with some margin of improvement”

First things first: the place is great. A modern complex of four apartments, with a stunning view of the ocean, that is just a few feet away, and well-maintained palm trees. Each unit has a large private balcony with stylish chairs and chaise longues. There are huge windows — in fact, one entire side of the room is made of glass, which is awesome — and the bathroom is modern, complete with a new washing machine. The shower even has a window facing the ocean, which we loved. Bed is just great, with a 50 cm thick mattress. Huge and comfy!! Private parking and a dedicated security service make the area feel safe and secure. That said, the nearby beaches were a bit disappointing. Not terrible, but unfortunately littered — we ended up picking up two bags of plastic bottles. The Macabee natural pools are basically abandoned, overgrown with vegetation. It’s a real shame, because the area has so much potential but seems to be neglected. By car, though, Beau Vallon and other famous beaches are easily reachable. We know this isn't the host’s fault, but it does impact the overall experience. We talked with the host about the issue and she has shown care and sincere will to address the problem with local authorities. The host seems to be positioning the property as a higher-end self-catering option, and she's definitely on the right track. However, a few small details can be improved for a better experience: - The remote controls were wrapped in plastic It’s understandable to want to protect them, but this felt unnecessary and not very premium. - The bathroom had brooms, a mop, and a bucket stored in plain sight. They don’t match a bathroom with a huge modern art painting in it. Anyway we put them to use trying to keep as cleaner as possibile. -The drying rack has only three clothespins; one night, because of the wind, our laundry flew down and I had to go down to the cliffs at dawn to retrieve it (if it happens, it’s not really a big deal anyway).

If I could I would give 15 out of ten! Everything here is special starting with the stunning views (every afternoon there are dolphins passing under your windows) continuing with room facilities (they have it all carefully designed to meet every one of you needs - we recommend more icemakers and shaker for pina colada though! And maybe some comfy pads for the yellow outdoor seating as we were spoiled by the place so much we sere sitting on terrace for hours!) and ending with homeowner and her stuff. We will be back!!!

“One of the best villas but in a remote part of Seychelles”

The room, is literally so big, you can stay in And be lazy all day! The ground plus 1 storey villa is very underrated and the interiors are made with love and care. All the essential needs are already taken care of and as such, the owners are warm and hospitable. Last but not the least, the views of the sea from the villa are utterly fabulous

Great view from the early morning till night. Just a sound of ocean. Very comfortable bed what made a stay just a dream. Well equipped kitchen. A big balcony with breathtaking view. A very supportive host Pooja offered us keeping our luggage and outside shower as we had an evening flight. Lovely Cookie😉 and last not least - washing machine and washing capsules available 😊

What a spectacular view! Nothing better than waking up and having coffee on the balcony listening to the waves. Lovely comfy bed, stunning room with lounge, kitchen and big bathroom. We were so happy with our stay!

Very good location Machabee in the north of Mahė. There is a regular local bus, to rent a car highly recommended. By Next beacht to walk 7 minutes, nice but small. Beau Vallon - very beautiful village and beach: by car 14 minutes, on the way 2-3 very nice beaches. The view directly literally being IN the sea is astonishing. Only 4 appartments all in all. very quiet (depending on other guests). Parking for free, safe, video surveillance. Automatic door. The bed is big and of high end quality. The kitchen has everything one needs. TV and Internet. Very friendly hosts!!! Long stay recommendable. The view from the bathroom-directly into the sea. Big terrace, nice to sit outside. Aircondition working perfectly and silent.
