Our hosts, Michael and Carole, were the absolute best. After a long traveling day, they prepared a beautiful meal for us. The house is absolutely stunning. So clean, and they had it decorated for our honeymoon celebration. The location has its own pool, which we used every single day. It's in close proximity to the beach and local shops to eat out or buy groceries. There is a bus stop right outside the property. This was the perfect location for us. They went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be back!

“Memorable”

The accommodation is cosy and comfortable with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Had an occasional dip in the pool which was fun. The host and caretaker are very friendly and hospitable, always checking in to make sure we are comfortable. Michael gave us a taste of lovely Creole food which was very thoughtful of him. Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend La Casa Sorento for a stay.

“Home away from home”

A home away from home is the best way to describe La Casa Sorento. We felt very welcome & comfortable in the tastefully furnished apartment with a pool right outside the door. Michael is a great host who is always on hand to offer advice and assistance, whether it's about renting a car, tips for day trips or restaurants in the area.

“A good place to relax”

As soon as I booked the apartment, they contacted me immediately. I used the transfer from the airport. On the way, Carole dropped me off at the store so that I could grab some groceries right away. The apartment is on the ground floor, so you can go straight to the pool. The apartment was much larger than you can see in the photos. With high ceilings. This is a family business, so you could feel the attention and care, there was no intrusion. And Chatura is very friendly and helpful! When I complained about restless sleep, he made me citronella tea! The road to Beau Vallon and Sunset Beach is the same - about 15 minutes on foot. The bus stop is 10 meters away. They helped with a card for one ride. I had a birthday the day before, and the trip was like a gift to myself, to celebrate. Mike prepared a BBQ on Saturday evening, where all the guests could get to know each other and the national cuisine. I was very pleased that they even prepared a cake with my name on it! Mike recommended the trail and even gave us a lift to the start of the trail. I want to come back again here.

Almost everything it was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the facilities everything was the best. There was even a washing machine. We received a lovely Christmas supper BBQ. Michael and Hubert were very friendly and pleasant. Even when we checked out and was island hopping they were still assisting us. It’s a home away from home

“Happy time in La Casa Sorento!”

We were happy to spend the first half of our vacation in this wonderful place! Michael and Carol are very responsible, tactful, hardworking, and hospitable... we can go on with this list endlessly. They are excellent and friendly hosts, hard to find better! Everything was done for our comfort, and even more! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of good wine, basic necessities, and other nice little things that are indispensable. On Saturday, my husband and I were treated to a wonderful private dinner! There were many pleasant surprises. Special thanks for that. The apartments are stylish, everything is tastefully done, and the pool is very clean. It was nice to refresh in it after walking on hot days. A 15-minute walk to the right there are 2 small and secluded beaches, we fell in love with them. To the left is the famous Beau Vallon with cafes and restaurants. The location is excellent. Now we are in the southern part of Mahe, but we liked the northern part even more! It was more compact and cozy for us. We spent an unforgettable week and we will always remember this time with special warmth. Thank you for taking care of us! We already miss it. And if the opportunity to fly to the Seychelles comes again, the choice is obvious. Michael and Carol, we wish you prosperity, success, and good guests!

“Amazing host and house”

Michael was very helpful and reached out to us way ahead of our arrival date to check if we were all set for airport transfer or car hire. He kept in touch with us throughout our stay, and he was even kind enough to leave us dinner one evening after his family had celebrated a public holiday and they had cooked a lot of delicious traditional dishes. The apartment and the property were very clean as well. The location is also perfect as it’s very close to Beau Vallon beach.

The friendly host Michael and his cousins (or one cousin and his friend?) were commited to the well-being of the guest. They were polite and always helped to open and close the gate. I saw Michael's wife only on the balcony and had no conversation with her. Ahead of the stay Michael always replied reliably. He was personally there for the check-in. The apartment was clean. It was quiet. You can park your car inside of the property. If you have no car, you could walk to Beau Vallon and Sunset Beach.

The owners hospitality is outstanding, very frendly and pollite: Met us in airport with transfer, help to solve some issues with local supermarkets, gave advises about entertaiments and time spending, provide a transfer to jetty. Thank you Michael and Carol! Your hotel is the best one via viseted by us family hotels in Seychelles.

Very quiet location, only 10 mins walk to Beau Vallon. Apartment was very comfortable, pool area is great and owner is super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended
