The hosts and staff were very friendly and did everything possible to ensure our comfort, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The shower is excellent, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is on a hill, so it is best reached by car. However, it is only about a 15-minute drive from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Petite Anse, which is definitely worth visiting. Overall, a great place to stay, and we would happily return.

Location was great, the views were amazing and Stella was an excellent Host. She even arranged a lovely hospitality pack to celebrate my birthday! Overall, my wife and I had a great time.

Maureen (owner) is a fantastic host, very caring and kind. Stella ( manager at the front desk) did a tremendous job, both great personalities we enjoyed to meet. House is like new, super clean, the view from the balcony and also from the bathroom is just amazing. The cleaning staff does such a good job that I ran into a glass door twice, because the glass was so clean I thought it was open xD Kitchen is very well equipped. We loved our stay

“Perfect, calm place in the South of Mahé”

Casa Gem was just amazing! The location on top of the slope makes it very calm and secluded but I would only recommend it with a rental car ;) Communication beforehand was great and we were greeted so welcomingly! The owner is extremely friendly and gave us some tips for the area. The apartment is spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and has two amazing balconies. The whole place and also the kitchen are very well equipped. I would always come here again!

Our stay was made truly unforgettable thanks to Mrs. Stella, who went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we booked, she ensured we had everything we needed — including thoughtful recommendations on where to go and the best places to eat around the island. When we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful New Year’s Eve hamper filled with sparkling wine and delicious snacks, a gesture that made us feel instantly welcomed and cared for. The reception was wonderful, and the accommodation itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully maintained, and offering breathtaking views over the bay. Every detail reflected genuine care and pride. An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

The service in advance, during and till the end of the stay was very friendly, professionell and even better than most of the 5 star hotels around the world. The view is even better than what the pictures are showing... Tip: You can enjoy the sunset over the bay from both floors. Everything what can be needed, is there from the kitchen to the bathroom and even the beach towels. You will also get good tips and locations for Mahé, some nice local suprises and help during the whole time.

She was always there for us and even said we could call her at any time, even at night, if we had any problems. She was friendly and organized our first dinner for us. Thank you very much! We had a great apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a pleasant kitchen; everything was very well maintained and comfortable.

“The perfect get-away”

Casa Gem offers beautiful views, is spotlessly clean, modern and has beautiful furnishings. A lot of effort went into creating the perfect holiday home, and it shows! There is a welcome breakfast basket, fresh fruits, and a list with local recommendations. We slept so well, the AC is great and quiet as are the surroundings. But above all: the staff. Stella is wonderful, was easy to reach, so friendly and welcoming. Same goes for the housekeepers and gardener. Don’t hesitate to stay here!
