Beautiful rooms throughout with very generous own balcony including sun lounges. Lovely big shared kitchen was very well equipped, swimming pool and outdoor area was both private and generous. Great location on edge of old city town, with stunning beaches and headlands close by. Many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Matthew and Clementa are wonderful hosts!!

The beauty of the place is matched by the friendliness and kindness of its owners! The Carob Tree is a modern, yet traditionally-built, facility, located within walking distance (10/15 minutes) from Victoria. The - themed - rooms are comfortable, well-organized and perfectly clean. Breakfast includes savory and sweet options, and it is served in the lovely living room, overlooking the garden and pool. Matthew and Clementa were extraordinary hosts, always ready to offer their help and accommodate our needs. Absolutely recommended :)

“Lovely, welcoming and just perfect”

Just awesome! If you want to stay a night in Gozo, which I recommend STAY HERE. We were warmly welcomed. The room was really nice and super clean. The kitchen area is amazing, you find everything you can ask for. There is coffee for free all day. At the time we stayed, we were the only guests and the owners prepared a big breakfast just for us. The next day we had to leave before breakfast time, so we told them that we wouldn’t be able to be there. It took us completely by surprise, they prepared the breakfast early and gave us take away boxes! They are so lovely people!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Carob Tree! The accommodation was beautiful! Although it felt like a boutique hotel,the hosts Clementa and Matthew were so friendly and helpful,we just felt so at home. They really couldn't do enough for us and every detail was carefully thought out without fuss or formality. Stunning breakfast each morning,a beautiful balcony and pool and even a little jacuzzi in our room which made it extra special. 10/10 for cleanliness. It was spotless.....just a beautiful place to stay and an easy walk to Victoria.

This was by far the best B&B I habe been to. It was super clean and Matthew and Clementa were both very friendly. I can only recommend this place and I will for sure book again when I come back to Gozo.

“Beautifull stay and warm hosts!”

Behind the simple façade in a quiet street lies a hidden gem. The accommodation is beautifully designed and exceptionally clean. It truly feels like a home, thanks in large part to the warmth and kindness of Matthew and his wife. For me, it was the perfect base for several hikes on the Gozo Coastal Trail. The room and bathroom are incredibly spacious, and you won’t miss a thing during your stay. A wonderful choice if you value privacy, tranquillity, and a beautifully arranged place to unwind. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous place, incredible welcome from Clementa and Mathew. The hotel is really beautiful with an amazing view from our room, really great breakfast. We really loved the recommendations they sent us and used most of them. Great place for our little boy, and a super comfortable stay.

Beautiful properly and very accommodating staff

“Beautiful accommodation, close to town and spotlessly clean.”

Spotlessly clean large room with a balcony and lovely rural view. Very friendly and helpful owners who make sure you have a great stay, helpful advice and nothing is a trouble. Only a short inexpensive Uber/Bolt ride from the Jetty or Victoria Town Centre or you could walk to the Town Centre in 10-15 minutes. Very quiet and safe area and there is a wonderful Continental Breakfast provided every morning. Plus a great swimming pool to relax by after a busy day. Highly recommend the Carob Tree for a great stay in Victoria.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Carob Tree! A short 20 minute walk into Victoria, it's ideally located for visiting the Cittadella and old town; and an evening stroll back to the BnB after a meal was perfect for us. The hosts were lovely and helpful whenever needed. We also hired the eBikes recommended by them for the day and had a fun time exploring the island.

Everything top quality in this purpose built B&B. Scrupulously clean. Lovely garden and pool which is available to use all day if you want to. Hosts extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast. Free tea/coffee + honesty bar available 24/7.

The breakfast is amazing and the hotel staff was super nice and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything. The hosts, guesthouse, food, location are a joy. Beautiful guesthouse and exceptional attention to detail with fabulous breakfasts. Matthew and Clementa couldn't be more lovely, helpful and happy. Our room was beautiful with everything you could want or need. The outside area is peaceful and beautiful. Location was excellent, short walk or Bolt ride into Victoria (we walked) and central to all parts of Gozo. Very highly recommend.
