Very clean professionally run hotel

“Lovely lodge at the heart of Victoria Falls with great amenities and friendly staff”

The staff was friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and had everything you need. They even had mosquito repellent which was a lovely touch. Location was pretty central. The staff went above and beyond to organise my activities and make sure I wasn’t paying double as a solo traveller. Great value for money.

Bathrooms and rooms were clean, nice pool and restaurant area. Good security to the hotel

The establishment was lovely. Our rooms were clean. The gardens well established. Tea and coffee making facility in the rooms. Ceiling fan and aircon in the room. Transfers to the Falls were punctual and on time, as was transfer to the airport.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They all went out of their way to help - from the front desk to the waiter. The food was good, room was clean .

Hats off to the Shrub Lodge for their neat,spacious and comfortable room coupled with caring, friendly and efficient staff all round.Our itenary which included transfers,tours,game drives, cruises,spa date etc was planned to perfection.Special mention to Faith and Victoria (front desk) for making our stay a pleasant unforgettable one.

The staff were very helpful and booked us on some amazing trips to experience the wonders of the Victoria Falls and Zambezi River. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good.

The room is very clean with all the amenities to ensure a comfort stay. The breakfast buffet is well supplied with both hearty and healthy choices. The front desk staff are very professional and reliable at arranging all the extra activities for us.

The location was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even helped me arrange a surprise cake for my friend's birthday.

This is a very nice hotel in Victoria Falls, a bit away from the centre, but the area is quiet and safe, the hotel itself is new, rooms are big and modern, very nice bathroom, good size bed, nice swimming pool, very good breakfast and tasty food.

“Exceptional stay highly recommended”

The room was spacious and clean . Bed was extremely comfortable. The Zimbabwe hospitality was exceptional. Staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional with great food and cooked to order. The pool was inviting and refreshing after a full day.

We had an amazing experience at the Shrub. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Their kindness and professionalism truly made us feel valued. The food was freshly prepared daily, delicious, and thoughtfully presented. You could really taste the quality and care in every meal. They also helped us book all our activities, making everything smooth and stress-free. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Most importantly, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and inviting. Everything was excellent! We would definitely return and highly recommend the Shrub!
