The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was impeccable, clean and neat. There are mosquitoe nets at all the windows and doors, which is great. The facilities were great, from the pool to the tower. One can also use the Oasis Lodge facilities of you are a guest at Shongwe. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this to anyone.

Well located, lovely staff and good facilities. In addition our room was spacious and very comfortable. Furthermore the breakfast was very good as was the menu for lunch and dinner.

“Loved our stay there”
The place is very nice.We booked an executive double with a very comfy bed. The entire place looked like a very well maintained garden,with greenery all over. The were a lot of options for breakfast,even vegetarians or vegans. But above all, the staff is absolutely amazing at this place. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

“Amazing Upgrade”
We luckily got upgraded to their sister NEW hotel Samanzi and WOW. Each room comes with it's own sun deck with sun lounges and semi-private pool (feels private though). Bathroom was amazing with an outdoor shower, indoor shower, and beautiful bath tub. Rooms very clean. Breakfast was a mix of a hot breakfast you order from a menu and some cold buffet items. The staff were all amazing. Location wise it is about a 10-15 min walk into the main area, however it was safe to walk and taxi's were very affordable via In-Drive app if needed. Overall would 100% recommend this

“Amazing stay – would absolutely return”
The people, the entrance, and the first impressions were all exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly relaxed—it truly felt like stepping into an oasis. Having access to both the oasis and the lookout gave us the best of both worlds, and honestly, we didn’t even feel the need to use the spa because the entire place already felt so calming. Our room was beautifully thought out, with incredible attention to detail. From the bath and shower to the hand-carved basins and how the detail moved from the bedrooms to the bathrooms to the wall art to even the pools, everything was stunning. The beds were made so crisply, it felt luxurious and comfortable at the same time. The lookout point is even more breathtaking in real life than in the photos. The entire property is beautifully maintained, spotless, and peaceful. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Absolutely exceptional! We were ‘upgraded’ to the Shongwe’s companion hotel the Samanzi. It was wonderful. Perfect rooms and en-suites with immediate access to a series of swimming pools leading to a sunken poolside bar
