“Good on average but location was great”

We have been returning to this hotel for a few years, location is great and lovely comfortable rooms. Terrific breakfast. Easy parking. The refurbishment looks great.

They have spent a lot of money refurbishing the hotel but it is soulless esblishment with no buzz nor atmosphere or ambience.It is poorly patronised and has no restaurant.The wirk the front of the hotel Which was the car park is still after 2 years is unfinished hence from the one side of the hotel one’s vista is of a building site.not what one expects in Anzac or hotel and for what they chsrge The hotel has little to commend it.

“Pleasant stay in a newly renovated hotel”

Everything is newly renovated, smells of new! All is clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and professional. The lobby is quite modern and nicely decorated.

“Good breakfast”

Rooms clean, quiet, warm, bathroom had bath with shower attachment. The bed was large and had spare pillows. The window was large and had thick curtains but no shutters. In winter this wasn't an issue but could be an issue in the summer with the sun waking you up early if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was OK. Hot food was bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, there were also cereals, various breads and croissants, flapjacks, yoghurt. The fresh fruit section was a bit simple with apple compote or oranges. But everything was well laid out. Tea coffee and fruit juice were offered along with the local bottled water.

It was surrounded by construction and is in desperate need of renovations itself. The building, fittings and furniture are very tired and run down.

Location superb.

Delightful staff - Henrique was especially helpful on arrival, with loads of local advice. Location could not have been better. . We slept well in the very comfortable beds. A generous breakfast buffet with good quality produce and lots of choice.

A great location close to the shops and main tourist sites .The rooms were pleasant and quiet

The room was a nice size and had a mini bar to keep my dog's food cold.

The rooms was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location is right in the middle of the city. Onsite parking was very convenient.

Tired and advertised outdoor heated swimming pool. No pool and reception just laughed when I said it was on their website. Would not recommend.

“Extremely ,very extremely disappointing.”

Very little. Over the twenty years or so that we have used this hotel quite a number of times ,we have witnessed a gradual deterioration in the decor ,quality of the facilities ,standard of catering whilst the cost of staying there has been increasing. There was a rear garden with a popular swimming pool with easily accessed car parking at the front.the rear garden and pool have been removed and the area is now the car park and the front car parking is now closed to cars and the well maintained lawns are poorly maintained. We will not return
