Located at the second floor of an historical building designed by Andrea Palladio, Palazzo Valmarana Braga is the centre of Vicenza, 300 metres from Piazza dei Signori. “The beauty of Vicenza”
Our week-long stay at the Palazzo Valmarana Braga was most pleasant and memorable. We stayed in the studio Francesca situated on top of the building next door, which is quiet, spacious and comfortable and equipped with everything needed. It offers the most striking view of the city thanks to its large windows and its roomy terrace, and what is more, it is accessed via the Palazzo Valmarana Braga, which gave us the delightful opportunity to pass under its beautiful façade and through its impressive portal every day. A unique place perfectly located to explore Vicenza and Palladio’s legacy. Many thanks to our kind host also for the insights into the building’s history and restoration!

Location was excellent. The historic nature of the property is a bonus. Excellent restaurants nearby. View from the loft over Vicenza was superb! Excellent sunsets.

A beautiful historic building in a peaceful part of the old town. Close to the centre and easy to walk to the shops and cafes. Within 15 minutes walk to station. Our family apartment was spacious over 2 floors and the whole building was very clean and well maintained. Check in was easy, with Francesca being in regular contact and meeting us when we arrived. Had a wonderful time in Vicenza.

Beautiful property with great history. Great location in central Vicenza as well as the train station and car parking being walkable. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Large room. Balconies had great 360 degree views of the city and surroundings.

“Staying here was a highlight of our wonderful visit to Vicenza”
A beautiful apartment, with a light airy feel - and what a location! Loved the framed prints of Palladio's drawings on the walls - over 40 of them. The prints belonged to Francesca's father Luigi, who spent decades restoring this Palladian palazzo after it was damaged by a bomb in 1944. Francesca's husband showed us their little museum in the basement, which shows the work done to restore the building. Most recently the facade has been conserved (fortunately not damaged by the bomb). We were so lucky to stay there, and would really love to stay again. Great to meet Francesca too.

“Stunning Palladian Palazzo in the heart of Vicenza”
The location was beyond perfect! One of the most gorgeous pedestrian streets in Vicenza...close to wonderful cafes, shopping, and restaurants. The building is stunning and the apartments are spacious and beautifully appointed. The parking lot for the apartments is a short, 5-minute walk (if arriving by car), and it is only 8 Euro for all day/overnight. We were able to walk all over Vicenza from the palace. The best location with the most perfect space in all of Vicenza! Francesca, the hostess, was wonderful! She was available to check us in when we arrived and answered our questions! When we return, we would love to stay at the same property! Highly recommend.

“A Palladian gem.”
It was a real delight to be able to stay in a Palladio building. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The central location was an added bonus with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to all places of interest. We appreciated the helpful tips left by the owner.Vicenza is a beautiful city.
