Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel Residence Esplanade is an Art-Nouveau building in Viareggio centre. It offers large and elegant accommodation with minibar and a satellite flat-screen TV. WiFi is free throughout. Each modern room and self-catering apartment at Esplanade comes with a private bathroom complete with hairdryer and courtesy set. Air conditioning is provided in summer. Restaurant Esplanade serves Italian favourites prepared with fresh ingredients, along with an extensive wine list. Breakfast is available daily. Set right behind the lush Pineta di Ponente pinewood, Residence Esplanade is a 20-minute walk from Viareggio Station. During summer, guests have discounted rates at 2 private beach clubs nearby, including parasols, sun loungers and access to the swimming pool.

We like everything, free room upgrade - we get one with terrace and jacuzzi, kitchenette, fridge, plates, glasses and 2 TV sets. Olive oil and sweet vine as presents when check out. Just perfect 2 nights, will come back.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Arranging a reservation for a space on the beach was easy. Gym was very convenient. Location was easy walk to the seafront cafes and shops.

“Fabulous”
This hotel is fabulous and we would highly recommend. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, the bar was very relaxing and breakfast is amazing with a great selection. This property is perfectly located for the promenade, bars and restaurants which are all only a short walk. The Hotel also offers bicycles for hire which we did on our last day and it is so worth cycling the length of the promenade as the views and beaches are stunning along the way. We would definitely book this hotel again in the future, thank you

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Residence Esplanade We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residence Esplanade in Viareggio. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service throughout was excellent—staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh and tasty options to choose from. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach. The beach club recommended by the hotel was lovely, well-maintained, and made our beach days extra relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Viareggio. We would definitely return!

Nice hotel, perfect location. Crew are great and kind. Free parking and breakfast, they accept dogs. One negative part is that they charge 10eu/night for a baby bed.

“Great base for the carnevale!”
Great location - perfect for the carnevale. Our room was well appointed and we had a great view from our balcony. We were room 312 and the only room that may have been better would have been 311. We were delighted. Breakfast was very good.
