Overview
Set in a traditional house, Youth Hostel offers dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. It is situated in the village centre, less than 200 metres from Vianden Castle. Guests at Youth Hostel Vianden can make use of the computers on the ground floor. Every morning a continental breakfast is served including fruit, coffee and different types of bread with toppings such as jam and cheese. The hostel offers full-board arrangements, with Luxembourgian specialities and vegetarian meals, upon request. Vianden Youth Hostel is situated in the Our Valley which is ideal area for hiking and cycling. Adventure Island in Echternach is 20 km away. The German border is 5 minutes’ drive from the property.

This is my second time staying here and I absolutely love it. The place is exceptional,very clean,well organized, and perfectly located.Everything is spotless and you truly feel comfortable here.I will definitely come back again!

The free breakfast was good, location right next to the castle. The hostel was mostly empty the night I was staying and a member of staff very kindly upgraded me for free to better room.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Good location; 4 mins walk to the Vianden castle, a few mins walk to the bust stop. Very simple but good breakfast.

“Good value, close to the castle, pleasant surroundings”
Close to the castle. Had everything that was needed. The breakfast was convenient. Beds were clean, water was running and warm, everything was working. A good value for this price.

“Good for a wee break”
- The hostel was easy to find and well deserved by different bus lines - I had the full room for myself during my 4 nights stay - at some point I was the only one in the morning for breakfast and the canteen lady simply asked me what I wanted and bring it to me - Good heating system - decent bed - The view from the window - Good WIFI
