Overview
Le Relais du Morvan is located in the city centre of Vezelay, set within the Morvan Natural Regional Park. It offers free Wi-Fi access and a traditional French restaurant on site, serving local specialities. Le Relais du Morvan is 700 metres from Vezelay Abbey and the town of Avallon is a 15-minute drive away. It is also an ideal place to stop when touring the Burgundy wine region.

“Wonderful”
It's wonderful located. It has a personal and original style from the place. Good room to relax. You walk into town easily. People working there were friendly. I had the impression i had arrived at a time when they were very busy, more then usual. There was a big feast in the evening, loved to hear the joyful singing there and friendly people having a good time ❤ Adjust to the spirit of the place and the people, understand them.

“Strategic location to visit Vézelay Abbey”
Room was spacious a reasonably clean. In the (old) facility everything was in good order (heating, insulation, access). Strategic location to visit Abbaye Sainte-Marie-Madeleine de Vézelay.

“Vezelay stay”
We have stayed at the Relais du Morvan on several occasions now on our RealRoads Motorcycles tours. Great location in the heart of Vezelay and the hotel whilst fairly basic is friendly and welcoming with a large covered outside area and plenty of parking - perfect for our needs

“Not worthy of the name hotel”
There is that much mould in bathroom that it smells in the entire room. It’s not a healthy situation. I reported the issue at the reception and they didn’t even apologise or offer a solution. This hotel is not worthy of a star. For that price you expect decency. Would only recommend this place if all other places are full.

“Quaint, fantastic original French hotel.”
Absolutely loved it Felt like going back in time!!!! What a quaint, original “French hotel” I wouldn’t change it for any frou-frou luxury boutique hotel. The food was fantastic as well! They have a genius misting system that cools the air so sitting under their wonderfully shaded front garden is a treat! The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating 10/10
