Close to the centre of the village, nice view from the garden, comfortable room, buffet breakfast containing local products of good quality, very nice staff. Huge thank you to the owner for making us feel like home!

A good value hotel in a great location. At the entrance to the old town and across the road from a good restaurant. The area around Vézelay is well worth an explore.

Rustic but attractive small hotel in the beautiful hilltop village in Vézelay. Our balcony had lovely views over the wonderful surrounding countryside, and our slightly quirky bathroom had everything we needed including a good sized bathtub. Choice of restaurants which were all within walking distance. Very good value for money.

The ground floor room was comfortable with a patio area overlooking the gardens. The hotel was situated an the lower end of the town near the main road and bus stop. The breakfast was good and although the hotel don’t do evening meals the staff kindly made a hot cheese and ham sandwich.

What makes this place marvellous and magical are the people. From the owners to the staff; an exquisite crew of helpful, kind and genuine people. The room is was offered had an amazing view on the surroundings. Mesmerising vision to wake up or to seen the golden light of the sunset. Nevertheless the rooms are really basic and outdated, but it comes with the charm of this mystical village. To be repeated…

Hotel was ideally situated to easily visit everywhere we wanted to go to. The room was very pleasant, everything needed for a 2 day stay. Breakfast was good.

Perfect to visit the Basilica

Our room had a balcony and we loved sitting there on a hot quiet afternoon. The staff are very friendly and our bed was comfortable.
