Breakfast could have been a bit better but was okay

Cute hotel in the city center. Has good parking and accepts pets. They reached out to me before hand to explain how to get there. Don't follow Google maps.

“Good value for money in a very historic (90 BC) town!”

It seems this was an old palace turned into an hotel. Although the walls of the rooms need some new painting the whole building actually was lovely and in the heart of Veroli! We just stopped in this tiny town for one day, but to get their by car was a challenge as their seem to be two entrances. The car needs to be parked (free of charge) at the back on a safe parking lot. DonMt go there, like we did with an SUV, by driving to the main entrances as the street is very, very narrow and you’ll regret it. Luckily Leonardo at the front desk hopped in my car and helped me get out safely so I was able to park the car at the correct parking lot. Breakfast was decent and staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s a great town for break, if you’re driving a long distance (like we did from Milano to Napoli). Also there several eateries nearby. We ate at Scrocchia which was great and good value for money!

Excellent lication in the middle of ood town, a charming old building with friendly and helpful staff. Upon arrival we received a free room upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise. Cleaning was excellent also, made daily

The breakfast was formidable! Also the regio is excellent for a holiday expedition into the montains and farther to the coast. If you like to wake up early in the morning , you can see the sun comming up, above the Abruzzen, more than 40 km far. The main entrance is situated in a narrow street, ZTLimitato. After reservation we receive the way to the free hotel-parkingplace and the entrance to the second door. A few streets from this sleepingplace have this hotel an excellent restaurant! Not every day, but on saterday evening are there more good restaurants open in the center storico. We like the panoramic views of Veroli.

This is an old beautifully renowned palace in the middle of the old city which was previously a monastery. Our room was on the second floor with a great view of the city and the mountains, the bathroom was full of light and spacious. We chose the location because the city was among many other places we planned to visit but we could as well just spend the time lazy-making in the hotel area. There are some bars and (probably) more expensive restaurants serving local dishes. Worth mentioning, the hotel cooperates with international gastronomy and enology school next door. As the weather was challenging, we didn't manage to reach every place and we certainly return in the future with the greatest pleasure. The manager in the reception provided us with a handful of information about many other places we could visit like Basilica Concattedrale di Santa Maria Salome. The minuscule city of Veroli is very well maintained, compared to the others nearby. As far as distinctive places, there is a City Museum, and the most important artifact are so called Fasti Verulani - one of the very few original ancient Roman calendar tables done most probabaly at the times of Octavian Augustus' rule. There is also the newly opened Palazzo Marchese just a few steps from the Filonardi palace, where one may find a super informative exhibition concerning ancient peoples living in this part of Lazio before Romans came. In the nearby cities you have medieval frescoes in Anagni cathedral, another megalithic walls (Alatri), Renaissance palace (Trisoli), Cicero's birth place (Arpino).

Friendly staff. It was in the old town on top of the mountain, which was a unique experience. It was an old Palazzo, a beautiful place. Rooms were comfortable with stunning views of the valley. Breakfast on the terrace with great views.
