Pascal was amazing, he gave us a welcome gift of the local cider and accommodated our every need throughout the stay. He offered us pears from the garden and recommendations on places close by to eat, was very thorough with showing us around the apartment and showing us how to use the jacuzzi, very helpful and kind. The apartment was exactly as the images showed, clean, comfortable, we made use of the kitchen which was well equipped perfect for 3 people. The views were lovely and jacuzzi was great, well received after a long day of travelling. Close to the town and local amenities, within walking distance of the train station. Pascal kindly let us leave our luggage on the last day so we could make the most of our last day in Vernon and met us with it at the train station before leaving, a lovely, helpful host, we will be back again in the future.

The location is on the Seine and close to good shops and restaurants. The accommodation is comfortable and the terrace is well furnished

The host's attention to detail and readiness to help. We came a day late due to car troubles, and Pascal has done everything he could to help us get over that stress. He has also offered us the opportunity to extend our stay.

The most delightful and obliging host we have ever had in all our years of travelling. He went out of his way to ensure our stay was memorable. The front deck over looks the Seine so it is a lovely place to sit and observe the traffic on the river. The apartment is an easy walk to the timbered houses, the museum and many excellent cafes and restaurants in the heart of Vernon.

Very welcoming host and extremely helpful

This appartment is in a super position on the Seine - our bedroom had a view of the river! There is all you need here and Pascal was so helpful - he made us feel most welcome! This appartment is ideal for visiting Giverny and Rouen.

“Well equipped, comfortable apartment with great location and view.”

Pascal met us at the station and took us to the lovely apartment overlooking the Seine. We used both bedrooms and the sofa bed, which were all very comfortable. The kitchen area is small, but very well equipped with plenty of pans, utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Teas, coffee (ground and Bosch Tassimo) and a bottle of local cider were welcoming. Soft towels and shampoo/shower gel/hand wash were provided in the ensuite shower room and main bathroom (power shower over bath). The single toilet is helpfully separate. We enjoyed sitting on the raised terrace to eat, drink and relax with the view. We didn't use the table tennis or pay extra for the hot tub or bike hire, but maybe next time. It was fun to watch the fish and frogs in the small covered pond. Great location from which to explore the town centre (with shops, cafes and historic buildings), walk along the river, visit Monet's gardens at Giverny, day trip to Rouen or Paris and explore other delights of Normandy.

“Perfect Stay, Perfect Location, Perfect Accomodation”

Pascal, the owner and charming host, greeted us on arrival but had also sent a message via Booking. He walked us around the grounds and apartment detailing points along the way. The apartment is very well furnished and decorated and the views of the Seine from the private terrace were amazing. Location could not be better, the town centre was a 10 minute walk away and offered a good selection of shops and restaurants were plentyful with a good range of restaurants from fine dining to street food. For anyone going to Monet's garden it is a ten minute car ride.

The location was beautiful a view of the river a generous patio to have coffee or a meal. Peaceful is what comes to mind. Pascal is a wonderful host.

Thé apartment was a great mix of new - like the kitchen and balcony - and lovingly restaurée, like the mid-century beautiful bathroom. The hosts are friendly and go out of their way for you to have a good stay.

Great apartment in a lovely quiet location yet close to the centre of Vernon and easy distance from Monet’s garden in Giverny. We had a fabulous weekend, Pascal and Sophie were so welcoming and friendly, we’d love to come back and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Very attractively placed next to River Seine with a terrace to relax. Owner very keen to please offering to collect us and return us (return in heavy rain) from/to the station. Bedrooms comfortable with view of river. Hour walk to or from Giverny by the Seine and on country walkways.
