Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The apartment lacked proper ventilation, and there was a noticeable musty smell in the air. We tried leaving the doors open to air the place out, but this did not help. I would not recommend this accommodation for families with children or for people suffering from asthma or other respiratory conditions. The bedding was dark in colour, making it difficult to judge its cleanliness. However, it appeared to be not very fresh. In addition, most of the dishes, cups and cutlery were dirty and had to be washed before use.

Well equipped with functional kitchen, good bathroom. It was immaculate and everything functioned with useful tip cards. Very handy location to station and shops with good security.

The communication from Eric was outstanding. Clear and early. The apartment had everything you would want. It is small but for a one night stopover it was fine. Easy drive to Giverny to see Monet's garden. If the weather was good. you like walking and have the time we could have walked there.

We stayed in this lovely little apartment when visiting Vernon for the annual Super Mario Kart championships. Eric is a super host, really friendly and reliable and I really appreciated that he would check in with us from time to time to ensure that we were settling in well. The check-in instructions were very clear and there were helpful information cards across the apartment (in French and English) which explained how appliances worked e.g. the bedroom shutters. We only cooked food once in the apartment as our event provided meals, but we were impressed that the kitchen stocked all the basics like cooking oil, salt, pepper and even Nesquik! We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning next year. Thanks again Eric! :)

“An excellent place to stay if you are visiting Giverny and want to avoid the crowds.”

Excellent communication with the owner from start to finish. The apartment was very well located for a visit to Monet’s Gardens in nearby Giverny, within easy walking distance to Vernon station from where there are frequent shuttles, taxis and uber. I recommend visiting the gardens after 3pm when they are less crowded as most visitors have left for Paris. It was easy to get into the apartment and great to have the use of a washing machine. Also there’s a lovely bakery just down the street and the apartment is very handy to shops and restaurants. There is a bike hire place very close to the station where you can leave your bags if you arrive too early, and hire bikes for the short ride to Giverny.

It was a Garage. The place had a terrible smell. It was Damp . There was a roller over the window so No fresh air . The bed was hard . And there was a roller blind for a door . Also No pillows .

The compact apartment is well located close to the train station and town. It was quiet and suited our stay in Vernon. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The property was located very close to everything and you can walk around for shopping food and drinks. The apartment was great and nearly kept for our arrival. It’s not big but sufficient for our stay for one night.

Great location. A short walk from the railway station and a good base for travelling to Giverny as the buses run from the station. Also a good base for discovering the historical areas of Vernon. On the ground floor of an old building, the compact apartment looks like new. Very quiet.

It was very close to the station and a few supermarkets and restaurants. Though some restaurants were closed during the time we were there, we managed to find a lovely one with friendly waiter and amazing food.
