The hotel and its adjoining ‘casas rurales’ dovetail perfectly with the rest of the village. Constructed with a lot of care and attention.

“A Chance to Stay in an Attractively Restored Mountain Village”
The stunning scenery of the Picos, the nearby river walk and the attractiveness of Verdiago itself with it's stone and ochre buildings and terracotta rooves. Lecre was very helpful and cooked us an excellent local style dinner each night. The restaurant is not cheap, but it's traditional rural Spanish fare and a unique experience and food has to be brought a long way .We enjoyed meeting other guests in the very pleasant dining room. The accommodation was comfortable, warm and attractively furnished. The shower was good. The washing machine didn't work but Lecre kindly did our washing. We had a pleasant sitting out are with views of the village. It is a memorable place for a short stay.

One of the most unique and stunning places I’ve ever stayed. We only had one night there, but wish we’d booked longer. Will definitely be back one day.

Very imaginatively restored set of buildings converted to house rentals close to a hotel. It was handy having the hotel on site where it was possible to get any meal and a good bar as well. We were a group of 6 friends four stayed in a casa rurales where we had two bedrooms and 2 stayed in the hotel. The hotel room standard was very high but the house had more space so it was an ok tradeoff. The house also had a barbeque and outdoor nice patio which was excellent. You could drive to local mountains and a lake where we enjoyed both a hike one day and kayaking another which was really good fun.
