“We hope that anyone lucky enough to stay at no. 21 enjoys their time there, as indeed we did.”
This self-catering apartment, booked through Booking.com, had everything we could wish for. The phots shown on Booking.com's website are a true representation of the facilities in the apartment at no. 23. It is within a 5 min walk from the bus and train station, 10 mins from Holzmarkt, an excellent supermarket that has everything, including a very nice cafe with all usual cakes, rolls and savouries as you would expect from a German eatery. A 25 min walk takes you into Verden an Aller with its shopping precinct, there Is the Dom, a cathedral type church, and you can even have breakfast on a cruise up the river. This apartment is much more than just a holiday-let, judging by it's furnishings it's more like someones home, someone with impeccable tastes perhaps and with a musical background, there is even an a very expensive looking electronic piano. Pity we can't play.

A wonderful place and sweet host couple. Would highly recommend the place, not too far to the center. Location is a quiet neighborhood.
