Great location close to the castle and near cafes and restaurants. Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. A kind and knowledgeable host who genuinely sought to help us make the most of our stay.

Piernicola was a truly kind and thoughtful host. He was there to greet us upon our arrival and gave us such a warm welcome. The B&B was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, perfectly located on the piazza where we enjoyed delicious cornetti and cappuccini for breakfast at a cafe frequented by locals, served by the friendly owner. We had a great time in Venosa and would happily return. Grazie Piernicola, e alla prossima!

Large rooms with comfortable sofa and good kitchen facilities. Very modern bathroom with huge variety of toiletries supplied. Large, comfortable bed. Breakfast of coffee/croissant in neighbouring cafe, with additional yoghurts etc. in the property. Very friendly and helpful host.

“Great break in a lovely remote part of Italy”

The property was in a great location in the centre of the town. Our host Pier called us on phone the day before arrival and was most helpful and was always available to help if necessary. He gave us lots of info on what to see locally and recommended restaurants etc. A typical Italian breakfast was provided in the bar across the road and was more than adequate (we were also good customers in the evening for a drink or two after a day's sightseeing). The town of Venosa was a lovely base and all the people we met could not have been more pleasant and welcoming. I would certainly hope to return at some stage in the future and if I do I will stay again at Pier's Bed and Breakfast In Piazza Orazio. Thanks again to Pier and Antonio (the bar owner) for making our stay most enjoyable.

Great room or rather apartment. All newly renovated two years ago according to Per. Super clean everything, cozy place and beautiful. The bed very comfortable and the shower excellent in one word. Quick to heat and powerful. Light snacks in the fridge, water and yogurt. Coffee and cocoa. Good heat in the room which is good for this time of year. Air conditioning in addition. Everything is so beautifully finished and tidy. Great location in beautiful Venosa. Close to all major services and restaurants everywhere. Parking directly outside the room which is on the ground floor with a direct private entrance. After a month in Italy in various places, this is my best experience so far! Per is truly a super host who takes great care of his guests and makes sure that everything is as good as possible. Delicious breakfast at a nearby cafe. Highly recommend this accommodation to everyone!

“Real Italian flair in the beautiful town of Venosa.”

This B&B was truly exceptional in every respect - a real example of Italian flair, in a good location, in the lovely town of Venosa. Pier Nicola spoke no English but used Google Translate to chat to us via WhatsApp before arrival and had arranged a Facetime call to his daughter to translate the tour of the property and answer our questions directly. Parking was in the limited time stand opposite the property with "a local arrangement" to allow us to park as long as we wanted. The major sights are within walking distance and there was a superb restaurant just across the square. Had we known how lovely Venosa is, we would have stayed an extra day.

We had a very warm welcome from the host and his daughter who secured parking for us outside the apartment which opened onto a beautiful Piazza in the heart of the old town. They recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. The apartment was charming with curved brick ceiling and was well equipped. Breakfast is at an adjacent cafe/bar.Venosa is a lovely old town complete with castle and roman ruins
