Overview
Hotel American is situated in the centre of Venlo opposite the Limburgs Museum and just over 5 minutes by car from the German border. It features a packed lunch service. All of the rooms at American are simple yet functional with a light décor. Each room has a TV, work desk and a private en suite bathroom. Venlo Railway Station is only 180 metres from the hotel. The centre of Eindhoven is a 40-minute drive from American Hotel. The Maasduinen National Park is just over 30 minutes away by car. Guests can enjoy a range of International dishes and traditional Dutch bar snacks in the cosy brasserie or a local Limburgish beer outside on the pavement terrace in warm weather.

The location is perfect, just a couple of meters the train station. The rooms.was spacious and enough for one night or a few days. It is a small hotel and it is what it is. The hall where the breakfast is served is beautiful and feels like a timeless tavern.

“Overall, it’s a pleasant stay, good price and breakfast.”
Staff is nice and helpful. Close to the train station. Even though the room is not big, it’s comfy enough for a short stay.
