“A cosy waterside home away from home in the heart of Venice”

Location was great for getting around on foot. Very secure apartment with secure access. Hostess Maria looked after us with arrival information and instructions to get to the property. She provided many helpful tips and tourist information. Bed was extremely comfortable and suited us so we awoke refreshed every morning. Fridge and small kitchen area so we could prepare our own breakfast. However there was a great coffee shop nearby so we didn’t really need to eat anything in the apartment.

My wife was greeted with a rose and a smiley face. Then we were shown into the apartment with champagne and chocolates awaiting.

Beautiful location, excellent and responsive host. We were very unlucky and had a problem with the water heater but the host was amazingly fast with getting out to the apartment and getting it fixed and left us a bottle of Prosecco to apologise.

Maria was a fantastic host, meeting us on arrival and offering useful recommendations throughout our stay. Watersdoor is a lovely property with everything needed for our stay. It’s right on the canal and an excellent base to explore Venice by foot. Food and coffee options close by too. We would definitely stay again if we revisited Venice.

No doubt the attraction for this accomodation is having a canal at your back door. Watching the boats go past is pretty cool. Pretty nice accomodation and well woth a night or 2.

We loved everything about the Venice Luxury Watersdoor! From the quite and beautiful location, the exceptional hospitality. It was spotless clean! A beautiful Venezian appartment in which contributed to my 12 year old son having the best holiday ever in his favourite city. And what can I say? Having a glass of wine and a morning coffee by the quiet canal, can not get any better! Maria is a wonderful person and hostess! I cannot recommend this place enough! Just get there already!! We can only dream of visiting again soon!!

“A perfect stay in Venice”

What an amazing apartment, one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. It is a beautiful space from which to enjoy this fab city. Comfy bed, big bathroom, and everything you could need is provided. St Marks, The Rialto, etc are only 10 mins walk and there are lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Maria & Sara are wonderful hosts, kind and full of great advice. The private taxi from the airport is a wonderful way to arrive. We certainly recommend and will be back.

Maria was an amazing host! She met us at the airport and escorted us all the way to the hotel in the middle of the night! If it was not for her kindness we would have definitely been lost as Venice is difficult to navigate and maps do not work! The property itself was lovely and the watersdoor… wow!

The location was spot on, it seemed like everywhere was only a 15 minute walk away max. Also the host Maria was lovely, we had a late check in and she made sure to meet us and greet us, also being in contact over WhatsApp to make sure we knew which boat to get from the airport and the route to the apartment, which from the boat stop was only 5/10 mins walk. She also kept in touch throughout the weekend telling us about events to go to and how to get to places. Also some good places to eat. Very hospitable and we would stay there again. The apartment is also really nice with a terrace on an on a canal.

What an amazing spot. Absolutely well located, near the pier, the center and all you need around ! What a pleasure to meet Maria and her daughter. Such amazing souls. The apartment got everything needed to make it perfect ! The exact « rococo » style we are looking for while coming down Venise. A really great value of money considering the quality of the permises and the host who is 100% involved to make your journey as the best ! Will definitely recommend that place and Maria for the impressive warm person she is.

I love the detail put into the accommodation and the care taken by the caretaker. The place is very romantic and right on the water. It has lovely views and is on the quieter side of Venice, which allows you to get some good rest.

Maria was an exceptional host - very communicative and made our stay in Venice special with multiple recommendations and local insight. The location was superb, very close to the Vaporetto yet not in too touristy an area.

The apartment is very welcoming and very charming. It opens straight up onto the canal and that view is enjoyed throughout the whole apartment. The hosts are very welcoming and the apartment is spotless clean.
