San Lio Tourist House is set in an ancient house of the 14th century, located in San Lio Square, near the Rialto Bridge and Saint Mark's Square. Completely restructured yet maintaining the period atmosphere, San Lio Tourist House invites you to enjoy Venice at its best. All guests are given a free tourist map on arrival. San Lio Tourist House offers carefully restored, comfortable rooms. Some rooms enjoy a view on the square and the San Lio Church. All rooms are situated on the 2nd floor and are accessible via a staircase that is partly open air.

The location was good. The room and bathroom were a bit small and did not look like in the picture. Everything was clean nice and claean. The manager was very friendly.

The location was excellent – really convenient and perfect for getting around. The room was quite small, but I was traveling alone and had a single room, so it was enough for sleeping and one carry-on suitcase. For my purposes, it worked perfectly well, since I didn’t spend much time in the room: only to sleep and take a shower. I came for the opening of the Venice Biennale, so the price was above average, but still acceptable for that period. The room always smelled very clean, housekeeping was done every day, and fresh towels were provided daily, which I really appreciated. The place also felt very atmospheric. I really got a sense of the spirit of Venice, which made my stay even more special. There is a large terrace, although I didn’t use it. Keep in mind that the terrace faces an inner courtyard, so don’t expect much sunlight.

“Excellent stay!”
Very clean and cozy room with comfy beds. The location was fabulous, with 5 min walk to main attractions. Umberto, our host was exceptional, very helpful and friendly. We were able to storage our luggages until 5pm on the day of departure. We had an amazing stay as a family. Highly recommend 10/10

Room was on the small side (to be expected in an old city like Venice) but comfortable, perfect for a few nights' stay to explore the city. Umberto was very helpful. The location was excellent, would definitely stay here again!

“Perfect hideaway in busy Venice”
Room was stunning and in a lovely quiet street. Well equipped with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen. Well equipped with toiletries, hairdryer and vanity kits. Coffee machine and mini bar fully stocked up. The place was spotless and perfect temperature. Umberto was a fab host, gave us a great video to get to the annex room from the main house. Gave us great advice on the route back to the airport to make the journey cheaper and less crowded.

Umberto was an excellent host taking care of all our needs. Communication throughout the booking and stay was fantastic. Great city break made even better by Umberto’s hospitality. As a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children 13/10) this was a different type of booking than we are used to given that it is not a typical hotel set up. We were reassured from the start by the host and we found the accommodation to be very clean, in a perfect location (literally minutes walk to both Rialto and St Marks Sq), very secure and comfortable. Check in was very easy and reception was a few minutes walk from our room. Arrival at Marco Polo caused the biggest issue for us with over a 2 hour queue to get through passport control - because of this we changed plans and opted for a private taxi transport into Venice which Umberto organised for us at the last minute. This was a great experience.
