Overview
With an exclusive location, on its own island, the San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice features three bars, three gourmet restaurants, a spa and elegantly decorated rooms. It has a swimming pool and a terrace overlooking the lagoon. Rooms are spacious and fitted with elegant furnishings. Each comes with an LCD flat-screen TV and an en-suite bathroom made of Italian marble. Some rooms have overlook the lagoon, and some have a seating area. At the San Clemente Palace you can relax and unwind by the pool, set in the property's own park and equipped with gazebos and plenty of tables and chairs. Guests can enjoy the tennis court and fitness area. The on-site spa includes a sauna and a steam room. A complimentary shuttle boat to and from St. Mark's square to San Clemente Island runs with a regular service.

“A true palace in its own island, like living a dream”
The lush, expansive gardens are simply unmatched, as are the activities on offer – from cycling around the island and reading while watching the sunset, to playing tennis or taking peaceful walks. It’s an experience that’s almost impossible to find anywhere else in Venice. The rooms were spacious, and as the hotel has been recently refurbished, everything is in perfect condition. The main building feels like a palace, with its wide corridors and magnificent staircases adorned with Murano chandeliers – giving the impression of living in a royal residence. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious – plentiful without being wasteful, striking exactly the right balance in every respect.
