The property was perfect, close to all the main attractions, host was very helpful and apartment was very clean with everything you need for a break away.

Amazing location, plenty of room. A great base from which to explore magical venice, you can even get a gondola ride from the bridge right outside the apartment. Nice touch was the small rooftop terrace, perfect for having a morning coffee (from the nespresso machine in the kitchen) before setting off for a day's adventure. All felt very safe and we were made a very warm welcome on arrival. Air conditioning in the bedrooms in case it gets a little hot. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of room.

We had a great stay at San Marco. The property entrance is off a main walkway down a narrow alleyway. You go through a black door and up 3 flights of narrow stairs to reach a beautifully decorated, warm modern apartment. We had good communication and were greeted on time by the friendly staff member. The location is central and only 5 mins walk to St Marks square and 2 mins to water bus stop Giglio. The living area was spacious with an 8 seat dining table, a flat screen wall mounted TV on a swing arm, good internet and with views of the top of St Marks Bell Tower and Canal below with Gondolas and signing boat men.(no noise if windows were closed!) The main bedroom is upstairs has a private bathroom, large shower and has the outside terrace attached. The two bedrooms off the living area were good with another bathroom and large shower. All modern and clean the whole Appartment is double glaze and temperature controlled. Kitchen was compact, but no oven just gas top stove and microwave. We loved our stay in Venice and would highly recommend.

Can't thank Dimitri & his Mum enough for all their help during the booking process answering any questions before travel. Dimitri met us as we got off the water taxi and took all our heavy luggage up the 3 flights of stairs & explained bits & pieces. He told us where to find the local supermarket so we could stock up on supplies for our stay. There were several guide books to use in the apartment which was really useful. Everything in the apartment was as we thought it would be from the photographs it was just lovely. The location was just brilliant and so central. We bumped into Dimitri a couple of times during our visit & he showed us some short cuts which were really useful. We can't thank them enough for making our stay so brilliant. If we were to visit again we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

“Wonderful a beautiful city steeped with history”

We had a wonderful stay at Residence San Marco from beginning to end. The property gives you the full immersive experience of this beautiful enchanting city with its traditional features and wonderfully situated in the Heart of Venice, you can even hear the Gondoliers singing and watch them pass by from the window. we found everything was within walking distance and the Apartment had all the amenities we needed and the Hosts were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely book again if I returned this wonderful city
