Overview
Set in a 15th-century building behind St. Mark’s Square, the small, elegant Relais Venezia is located in one of the city's oldest and smallest streets. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and are reachable only by stairs. A completely non-smoking hotel, the Relais was restored according to its original style. Rooms feature exposed wood beams on the ceilings and Venetian tapestries. Relais Venezia is surrounded by typical Venetian workshops, restaurants and pubs. The nearest waterbus stop is San Zaccaria.

Extremely helpful and friendly owners / managers and recently re-done facilities. Spacious room with a nice roof-top view. convenient location near San Marco, but a bit away from the crowds.

A lovely little hotel in a historic building in the city center. That explains many of its unique features. Despite this, the room is quite spacious, and everything is beautiful, elegant, and clean. The breakfasts are excellent—we didn’t even expect that. The air in the hotel is fresh; there’s no mustiness or dampness. There are a lot of stairs, but there is an elevator. The biggest advantage is the wonderful staff! Very friendly, polite, and cheerful people. They arranged a wonderful early check-out for us and immediately took care of minor issues, such as getting rid of mosquitoes (they’re in Venice all year round). Relais Venezia is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are very clean, silent, and comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day in the city. The à la carte breakfast is rich and of excellent quality. The service and staff are consistently attentive and highly professional. We were truly impressed and will definitely choose Relais Venezia again on our next visit to Venice.

Our stay at the relais venezia exceeded our expectations in every way. Even before we arrived Federico was an amazing host, telling us the best way to get to the hotel from the train station, which made it very easy for us. Federico took so much time to help us with recommendations and supplied is with a custom map for us to use with our places on. His passion for Venice is clear and his hospitality is the best we have experienced, with very good English to help us. The location of the hotel is literally perfect, with everything you could need or want to see within easy reach. The breakfast was just perfect for us. My wife is celiac and they catered for her very well with gluten free options and made her feel very safe and reassured. We always left with plenty of fuel for walking around Venice. The breakfast area is very sweet and relaxing and Elena is very attentive and kind. The room we had was amazing, with everything you could want as well as a beautiful large bath, which looked like something out of a spa. Everything was very clean and functional in the room as well. Venice is very safe and I don't think we have felt this comfortable walking around at night navigating our way around with phones in hand in Italy before. I would recommend the relais to anyone looking to stay in Venice and you won't be disappointed

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy, quiet, and very peaceful, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. The location is extremely convenient, making it easy to reach everything we needed. What impressed us the most was the hotel staff — exceptionally intelligent, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their warm attitude and willingness to help made our experience even more special. We left with deep gratitude for the team and their outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended.
