The staff are wonderful, so cheerful and helpful all the time. The location is perfect, lovely touch having breakfast brought to your room in the morning. They kindly gave us an upgrade for my husband’s birthday. Just wonderful.

Just back from a lovely 2 day stay at Palazzo del Giglio. From the communication prior to arriving to leaving this morning, the whole experience was first class. Got a waterbus directly from the airport (approx 1 hour on the orange line) A 2 minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Lovely location in a quiet square. Hotel is very traditional, spotlessy clean and very central. Thanks to Chiara and Slyvia and the team for an excellent stay. My daughters birthday was recognised with a lovely bottle of prosecco. A lovely fresh fruit basket upon arrival also in the room. Continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Very comfortable bed and a lovely jacuzzi bath and shower. Would definitely stay again as it was so central. Approx 10 to 20 mins walk from Rialto Bridge, Bridge of Sighs and all other main tourist spots. Definitely AI places to eat.....a lot of the restaurants around are tourist traps with mediocre food. Looked for local trattoria's non touristy on AI and found 2 lovely places. Trattoria All AnFora approx 10 mins walk from the hotel and a fab local place in Murano - La Perla Ai Bisentai. Be prepared to wait here (but do wait!) A fantastic local restaurant hidden away and full of Italians eating homemade Italian food. A lovely city to visit and would definitely stay in this hotel again due to its location and excellent service.

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo del Giglio in Venice, and we'd highly recommend it! The location is superb - you're right in the heart of the city, with restaurants, bars, and shopping areas all just steps away. Plus, the water bus stop is literally a 2-minute walk, making getting around Venice a breeze. The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful, and clearly keen to make your stay special. We were delighted to be upgraded on arrival, and the touch of having a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting in our room was a lovely treat. Breakfast was a highlight too - served conveniently in our room, with a good selection and variety to choose from (just order the evening before). It was a great way to start each day in Venice. One tip we'd add from our experience in Venice: it's worth exploring off the main tourist trails for eating out. A lot of the restaurants in the quieter side streets offer better value and equally delicious food compared to the busier, more central areas where prices can be steep (though the food there is still tasty!). Food and drink on the main areas do come with a premium, so venturing out a bit can pay off. Overall, Palazzo del Giglio offered a fantastic blend of comfort, location, and warm hospitality - we'd definitely stay here again."

Amazing location, close to the pier Santa Maria del Giglio (line 1 ferry). The Suite was big and had everything we needed. They welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco and a basket of fresh fruit. Breakfast was served into the suite.

Excellent location for local sites. Lovely spacious venetian style room, comfy beds. Breakfast was good, a fair choice, and what you'd expect at a buffet. For my teenage sons, it was great having breakfast delivered to the room.

We stayed here in May 25. I had initially booked a package but the flights changed so had to find a new hotel. I chose this hotel due to its ratings and price. I hadn't realsied what a perfect location it was, in a wonderful square, next to the Grand Canal and a 5 minute walk to San Marco Basilica. The hotel itself was comfortable. Our room wasn't gian but we had a private balcony each morning where we enjoyed breakfast delivered to the room for no extra charge. We also received a welcome bottle of prosecco on ice when we checked in. Great touch. All staff were really friendly and helpful and fluent in English. Would 100% recommend this hotel.
