“The location was very good; everything else was average”

The biggest advantage was its proximity to the train station, which meant we didn’t have to walk long distances with our luggage. Since transportation within the city is quite limited, walking is the main way to get around. It was a thoughtful gesture to offer beer and soft drinks in the minibar free.

The lady at the front desk was exceptional - cheerful, helpful, easy going!! The bathroom was bright, sizable and everything worked well, which is a bonus.

This property is small but perfectly formed. As a base to wander the streets it’s perfect with many different options. The view from the corner balcony is beautiful and it’s lovely watching the hustle and bustle during the day and the winding down in the evenings.

Our stay at La Palazzina Veneziana was wonderful! The hotel is in a perfect location in Venice, just a short walk from Santa Lucia Station and close to many cafés and attractions. The room was full of Venetian charm — elegantly decorated with colorful textiles, stylish furniture, and artistic touches, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. We also enjoyed the lovely canal view from the window, which added to the city’s romantic ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised that the minibar was included as a complimentary gift — a thoughtful and elegant touch! In the mornings, the sounds of city cleaning can be heard, which is understandable given the hotel’s central street location. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the authentic Venice atmosphere.
