Overview
Set in a 15th-century building, The Locanda del Ghetto offers rooms with parquet floors in the heart of the Venetian Ghetto area. Directly underneath the Schola Italiana Synagogue, the property serves a generous breakfast, made mostly of kosher food. It includes croissants, cereals and bread, together with hot drinks and fruit juice. Rooms at the Locanda are air-conditioned and include a TV, minibar and en suite bathroom. Wi-Fi access is free. Some rooms have original ceiling beam decorations. The Locanda is a 25-minute walk from saint Mark's Square, and 800 metres from Santa Lucia Train Station.

“Lovely place”

“Amazing.”
The location was great. Very close to almost anywhere, walking distance. The room was nice and clean. Anna and Emiliano were so nice and kind and made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed.

Excellent location, very comfortable room and friendly staff. We had a small issue with the fridge but the staff fixed very fast. I really recommend! Thank you for the experience. :)

Location excellent, walk to station and vaporetto stop, quiet, Canal view from window. Comfortable beds, private ensuite bathrooms. Connecting rooms available, which were perfect for our family. Highly recommended.

“Simple weekend get away hotel.”
Location was easy enough to get to by foot from train station. Building is old but clean and charming. Room was relatively spacious and it had a bathtub which was a nice plus. Water heater and tea provided in room. I was there in December so it was quiet but I can see even in summer time it being quiet at night. Airport water taxi is very close.
