“Magical secret hideaway”

We spent five fabulous days and nights at Lagoon Secret Venice. The apartment was light, airy and very large, and had all the comforts of home. It was decorated sympathetically and catered to all our needs. Carlotta and her team did everything to ensure that our stay went smoothly and that we were comfortable. The apartment was in a very quiet location, which is exactly what we were looking for - to be far away from the touristic crowds, but still close enough to the Giudecca canal front which we love. A short one stop on the vaporetto takes you across the canal to the main islands of Venice. What we loved the most about the apartment was the balcony overlooking the lagoon. We spent lazy mornings having breakfast there and long evenings watching the boat traffic and summer storms. It was magical.

The most beautiful apartment, so big and spacious and the balcony was absolutely amazing. Good location for a somewhere out of the centre and a relaxed holiday. The host Carlotta is incredible and so helpful.

The pictures don’t do this place justice – it’s even more beautiful in person! The apartment is spacious, modern, and romantic, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lagoon. Everything was spotless, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Giudecca is quieter than the main island, which I loved – just 2–3 stops from St. Mark’s Square and less than a 10-minute ride on the vaporetto, with boats coming frequently. The host thought of every little detail (even makeup remover!) and made check-in incredibly easy. She was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. If you’re hesitating, don’t – I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret it!

“Perfect couples getaway to see beautiful Giudecca!”

This is a true hidden gem! The location in Giudecca was away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland, yet so easy to reach everywhere via the local public boat transport. The apartment itself had a beautiful view of the lagoon. There was plenty of kitchen utensils for us to cook a meal and enjoy the apartment. It is just a short walk to the front of Giudecca where the restaurants and cafes are. Carlotta’s help prior to arrival via messages with directions, advice and recommendations of how/where to travel was extremely helpful! My birthday was very special with a bottle of Prosecco awaiting, from Carlotta. The cleaner was lovely and welcoming and the apartment was to a high standard.

We like absolutely everything , the owner is super friendly. Great location, quiet , specious, well equipped. There is nothing to complain about, definitely come back for us.

Stunning location. Very quiet. Amazing sunsets. Caffe Majer by Palanca boat jetty is superb (much better value than the other side of the canal).

Very modern and stylish appartment. Modern with old Venice flair and Italian style. Very good kitchen, nice living room, heating fine, most comfortable double bed ever seen. Nice balcony with view to the southern see of Giudecca, sunny, quiet and safe. Extremely sufficient and good communication before and during the stay.

This is an absolute hidden gem in Venice - In a perfect location 7m from the center but away from all the confusion and tourism. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the host Carlotta was and how perfect the stay is.

“Great views and a great host”

The property was beautifully decorated and great value for money. The host was friendly and very helpful, especially when our baggage was delayed by the flight operator, communicating with the delivery company on our behalf. We would highly recommend. Guidecca is south of the main island so a little quieter but this is a welcome break from the business of the San Marco.

The host was excellent and had coffee for us along with Prosecco. But the most important was the place it was nicely decorated. The apartment is larger than the pictures and is super relaxing. The description of how to reach the place was so easy to follow. I would love to come back
